Introducing Tyrone Noonan (Vocals)

Former george front man Tyrone Noonan is making his mark in the Australian music scene once again after being based overseas for several years.

Since 2014 he has been steadily re-engaging with his Aussie fans, including two successful East Coast tours (2014/16), supporting Tina Arena at her exclusive 2016 Gold Coast concert, as well as a series of george national 20 year reunion shows including a sold out QPAC Concert Hall (2016 Brisbane Festival), Queenscliff Music Festival, with Missy Higgins & WASO @ King’s Park WA, a sold out Governor Hindmarsh in Adelaide and Taronga / Melbourne Zoo shows (Feb 2017). While visiting the US in May he signed a new music publishing deal with Music Sales/Embassy Music at the New York office.

During his time overseas he witnessed the beginnings a new wave of Australian musical success globally, further proof you can now have an international career while living down under. "It's probably fair to say this new wave started with Gotye's success but it shows no signs of losing momentum - look at Courtney Barnett, Tame Impala and Flume for example," he said.

In New York, Nashville, LA and London, Tyrone worked regularly with musicians who’ve recorded and toured with John Lennon, David Bowie, Billy Joel, AIR and Bryan Ferry and performed regularly at prestigious pubs, clubs and festivals, while recording in studios used by Mark Ronson and Prince et al.

Tyrone brings a wealth of international experience back to Australia and is now taking his artistry to the next level including producing other artists, including This Way by new artist Alby Carter which enjoyed solid radio play around Australia late 2016. His solo album I Believe and remix album I’m A Believer are available online and in stores through MGM.

Tyrone will be performing with Palimpsest featuring Tyrone Noonan on Thursday 17th October.

Introducing Toni Allayialis Bann (Vocals)

She has sung and recorded for Paul Kelly, Joe Walsh, INXS, Vince Jones, Marcia Hines, Coloured Stone, Kate Ceberano, Noise Works, Guy Sebastian Wendy Matthews, DIG, Tribe of Jubal, Melafunk Collective, Sandy Evans and The Australian Art Orchestra and has supported Dizzy Gillespie, , Anjelique Kidjo, Nathan Haines and Los Van Van, to name a few. Performing and recording as a founding member of the multi-cultural group Toni Nation, Samba Mundi Latin Jazz Ensemble, Latin combos Nuyorican Orchestra, Corazon and CubanOz. She writes and composes in several languages and has performed in Australia, throughout the Pacific, Asia, Europe, Morocco, USA and the Caribbean.

Toni will be performing on Thursday 16th April in the Toni Allayialis Bann Quartet.

Introducing Polisi Fitz (Bass)

Polisi is a bassist whose career has spanned decades, continents, and a multitude of genres. Beginning his professional journey in Auckland, New Zealand, at a time when live music was at its peak, Polisi quickly established himself as a go to bassist in the NZ music scene. He took the reins of 10-piece Latin ensemble ‘Frontera’ and transformed it into Auckland’s premier Latin band, setting a new benchmark for Latin music in the New Zealand.

His undeniable talent and versatility caught the attention of international industry agents, leading to a pivotal contract with Kaos Entertainment, a New York-based talent agency, in the late 1990s (no longer trading). This opened doors for Polisi to perform alongside an extraordinary roster of internationally renowned artists.

Currently, Polisi is the touring bassist for Forever Soul, the critically acclaimed show led by New York born soul icon Lisa Hunt. The production regularly headlines major festivals and events across Australia, including the world famous, Byron Bay Blues Festival, sharing the bill with legends such as Tom Jones, PJ Morton, Mavis Staples, The Doobie Brothers, Bonnie Raitt, Snarky Puppy and many more.

A true world-class musician, Polisi has graced some of the most esteemed venues on the planet, delivering mesmerizing performances at:

• Dizzy’s Club (New York)
