Important Update – Persian New Year Gala
Dear Attendees,
After careful consideration, we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Persian New Year Gala.
In light of the current situation in Iran — where thousands of innocent lives have been lost and countless families are grieving, it would be inconsistent with our values to proceed with a celebratory event. For many within our community, this tragedy is not abstract or distant; it affects parents, siblings, friends, and loved ones. Out of respect, solidarity, and conscience, we could not move forward.
As many of you know, cancelling a large-scale event at this stage comes with significant financial consequences. With only 45 days remaining and all vendors and venue arrangements already in place, strict cancellation policies apply. Despite this, Grand Persia Gala and the Jangani family, have made the decision to fully refund every ticket purchased, and to personally absorb the financial loss. We believe this is the only ethical and responsible course of action.
All ticket holders will receive a full refund, processed automatically to the original payment method within 10 business days. No action is required.
This decision reflects who we are as a business and as a family. We are deeply grateful for your understanding and support, and we look forward to hosting future events when the time is right, when celebration is appropriate and our community can come together with lighter hearts.
