It's been a big month us!

I'm so grateful to my husband for all the planning and research he did to make this once in a lifetime trip happen. We've had an amazing time so far, with a few more days (and game drives) to go!

Thanks to the lovely couples who have sent enquiries through while I've been away! I'll be back in the office with my celebrant hat on in June once I find my feet in my new midwifery role, due to start when I'm back in Hobart next week.

See you all soon! πŸ¦’πŸŒπŸ¦πŸ†

🀍 Introducing Mr and Mrs Caplice 🀍

Liam and I had the honour of getting married on the weekend, and words cannot express just how grateful we are to the team of people who helped to bring our wedding vision to life.

We had a village of beautiful people come together to make it all happen, and each one blew us all away with their talent, reminding me of just how fortunate we are in Tasmania to have such incredible wedding vendors who make people's wedding dreams come true on a daily basis!

This celebrant is gettin' hitched!! πŸ’πŸ€

My amazing fiancΓ© decided to pop the question as the sun set over Lake Tekapo, and even managed to organise a sneaky photographer who did an incredible job of capturing the moment!

I'm so excited to experience the highs and lows of wedding planning alongside my couples over the next few months πŸ₯° Bring on the challenge I say!

How beautiful is this card and photos sent to me by one of my gorgeous couples! Maddi and James tied the knot at Frogmore and opted to have one of their close friends deliver the ceremony, with me stepping in to do the legals.

Whilst it's not the usual format for a ceremony, it was so special to see the story of the couple told by someone who watched it unfold first-hand!

It's an extra special wedding when it's for your friends! I'm proud to say that all three women in this photo are midwives and colleagues...and let's face it, Lachie (the groom) may as well be a midwife with how much he's passively learnt through having a midwife for a bride and sister-in-law!

Fun fact: Britt (the bride) is also an incredible artist and specialises in textured paintings!

Spot the celebrant! πŸ‘€

Have you thought about where you'd like your celebrant to stand?

It's totally your choice about whether you want us standing under the arbour with you, off to the side, or in the aisle (out of the way of the photographer of course!). This is something I always ask my couples leading up to the wedding, and we generally have it figured out by the rehearsal.

Gotta watch out for that lippy! πŸ˜‚πŸ€ Britt and Lachie πŸ€πŸ’ 10.03.2024

I love hearing what my couples write to each other in their vows. The little personal jokes, the summation of the challenges they've faced and their promises to each other. Even how they present it! Magie loves a good rhyme, and so she turned most of her vows into a poem for Scott. It was beautiful, funny and well written. Each vow is like a fingerprint; totally unique and unlike any other.
