It was fantastic to see MAC 02 recently transformed for the Tasmanian University Medical Students' Society (TUMSS) MedBall, one of the most anticipated events on the medical student calendar.

For more than 60 years, TUMSS has represented medical students at the University of Tasmania, bringing students together both inside and outside the lecture theatre. MedBall is their premier social event, offering a chance to swap scrubs and study notes for a memorable night with friends.

The venue was sparkling, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the room was full of smiling faces of Tasmania’s future medical practitioners. 🩺✨

Wow! What a great shot of MAC 02 from the water, with the Roulettes paying a visit during the Royal Hobart Regatta! ✈️🌊

We’ve been a little quiet at MAC 02 while the busy cruise season is underway, but we’ll be opening back up for events from May 2026.

If you’re planning a large corporate event, festival or expo, now’s the perfect time to get in touch. MAC 02 offers a stunning waterfront location and flexible event space right in the heart of Hobart.
