The Small Hall Gypsy Cabaret 3.0 was SOLD OUT and a grand success! Everyone who came looked fantastic! Everywhere we looked we saw people dressed up in the most extraordinary and beautiful attire. Everyone brought incredible energy and glorious dancing! Thank you, you electric people!!🔥🎩🔥

The musical acts gave their all. There was fire and mystery in the air, and the evening was set aflame by passionate and glorious musicianship! Big thanks to the extraordinary and stunning VARDOS – we loved your passion and power, and your traditional tunes brought genuine fire and authenticity! Not to forget the wonderful Hungarian dancers, Hien and Karoly Albert, who created an open space for everyone to join in with their traditional dancing! Ash King’s soaring vocals cleaved the air like no other and left many attendees speechless! Ash’s percussionist Izak also left many speechless at the sight of his phenomenal biceps and full power fervent drumming. Szara Fox & The Midnight Secrets roared and got everyone up gyrating, with many dance floor dervishes reporting being transported to another time and place.
Ryan Tews was, as always, fantastic to work with. The sound he conjured enabled a spectacular experience for the musicians, as well as for the attendees.

Meaghan Gypsy and Jeremiah kept our bellies warm, our taste buds joyful, and our sugar levels up, to fuel the dancefloor for the evening’s duration.
Peter and Janet provided their wondrous crafting of mulled wine, bringing a warm and intimate refinement to the proceedings.
Thanks to the lovely seer Fleur for bringing her far-sighted gifts and spectacular Gypsy Wagon, ‘Dook’. People were lining up the whole night to enter her wagon wonder-world and receive information from the beyond. Appreciation to the tireless Albert Worsley for his manly efforts in bringing Dook into the world!
A very special, heartfelt and huge shout out of deep appreciation to Andrew MacMillan for being the rock solid and indefatigable volunteer and friend that helped us tirelessly on all fronts from 2pm in the afternoon and until 2am, when the last of us left. We can’t imagine how we could have had the hall ready and looking so lavishly spectacular without you Andrew!
Big thanks to Alex and Tasj for fire-keeping and bringing wood, and to our beautiful, legendary soul friend Gabriella for helping out with the clean up on the night and the next morning.

Many people on the night of the Small Hall Gypsy Cabaret 3.0 experienced connecting with new friends and we witnessed the reconnection of old friends who hadn’t seen each other for years. People danced, were enthralled, and experienced much joy and beauty. This is what Velveteen Productions events are about. Creating spaces for people to meet, connect and enjoy life through live music. We are happily exhausted!
