A little French blue, a lot of texture and just the right amount of undone.

Our new French Blue Linen napkins brought the softest touch of colour, while a Stone Weave runner was layered over Pebble Weave and generously bunched down the table. Finished with antique silver candlesticks, delicate florals and that beautiful afternoon light at Terre Rouge Estate.

Proof that neutral doesn’t have to mean simple.

My face has never understood the concept of an inside thought.

Twenty years in events means I’ve learned to keep some things to myself. Unfortunately, my facial expressions didn’t get the memo.

A few things event suppliers never say out loud… but definitely say in their heads. And apparently, all over their faces.

Petition to stop treating cocktail hour as the warm-up act. 🤎

Ralph Lauren, but make it a Dandenong Ranges wedding 🤎

Our Sandstone Check tablecloths and Terracotta Linen napkins brought warmth, texture and a little country-club polish to this beautifully layered tablescape at the newly opened Terre Rouge Estate in Mount Burnett.

Plaid linen, rich chocolate tones, rattan lamps and chestnuts piled down the table… classic, considered and just the right amount of unexpected.

20 years of hiring table linen has given us some VERY niche knowledge

We can tell you the difference between floor length and puddle, know that a “standard trestle” is rarely standard, and can somehow picture exactly what 75cm, 1.2m or 2.4m looks like without reaching for a tape measure.

We’ve also learnt that table linen has a much bigger impact on a room than most people realise. Change the napkin and you add a little colour. Change the tablecloth and you can completely change the look and feel of a wedding, corporate event or dinner.

If only my school maths teacher could see me now…algebra was not required…adding 1.8+2.4+2.4+1.2 however is used hundreds of times per day!

Some reception spaces don’t need to be overstyled. They just need the right layers. And oh how gorgeously The Nuptial Collective has achieved that!

For O&G, Melbourne icon Reine & La Rue was transformed into an intimate candlelit dinner. Soft white floral sheer cloths for embroidered texture, warm brass lighting with our pleated lamps, timeless florals and natural timber created a setting that felt elegant, romantic and completely effortless.

One year changes everything. 🤍

Last year: pouring champagne at one of our beautiful weddings. 🥂
This year: pouring a Coke Zero tower for the little person she’s about to meet. 🥤💙

Today we celebrated Elise before she heads off on maternity leave. We couldn’t be happier for her and can’t wait to meet the newest (and tiniest) member of the Table Art family.

We’ll miss you, Elise!
