It's been a little while....I feel the need to fire up the pit and cook some BBQ. Now the question is, do I host another BBQ night at the Lemon Myrtle Cafe or do a pop up in the converted horse float?

We love getting feedback emails like this one from Pizza catering we did on the weekend out near Douglas:

Sadly we I didn't get any photos as I was too busy making pizza!

So what did we do this time? Antipasto platters, hot savoury platters and Neopolitan Pizza for 120 on Saturday and then Bacon and Egg Rolls on Sunday for 100! Big weekend!

Something different and delicious tomorrow. Chunky brisket pies with big chunks of our gorgeous smoked brisket. Everyone that has had a taste test has given double thumbs up so get in before they disappear.

We will also have Johns beef, bbq and bacon pies and our classic minced beef.

All made in house.

Only a week to go before we bring the smoke! 14 hour brisket, 10 hour pulled pork, both smokey, tender, juicy and oh so flavourful. Never mind the chicken and the sausages that are lightly smoked and amazing.

We are bringing the amazing deliciousness of low and slow BBQ back to Hamilton to the Lemon Myrtle Cafe. We haven't had a BBQ night for a couple of years and it is time!

So mark Saturday 31st of May in your calendar for some of the most amazingly flavoursome and tender beef and pork you can get!!!!

Get in quick for dine in as we have already started taking bookings before even announcing the date.

In the words of Molly Meldrum, "Do yourself a favour" and wrap your laughing gear around our BBQ. Your taste buds will thank you.
