The beautiful Dracaena ‘golden dragon’ is flowering right now! Like little fireworks. 🎆🎇🎆

I still have 2 peach/salmon coloured Zygo cacti in flower ($15) and one very large white flowering one ($20).

I learned this the hard way! 🫣😅

Here in Queensland the Hawkmoth has expensive taste.
It lays it’s eggs only on my Monstera plants.
I thought it is getting cold now and they would stop laying but…I found 6 single eggs on this variegated Albo and 5 on the Aurea. 🫣
The caterpillars have an astonishing appetite and can chew a leaf in half in a day.
It pays to check the leaves regularly.

The eyes!😱
This is the second time we found a whole snake skin in the nursery.
I can’t get over the head and the eyes being so perfect. 😅🐍🐍🐍🐍

Plant Presents will be closed
for 3 weeks from next Monday on!

So, we like to clear out our rare and variegated indoor plants.
10% -15% will be off the plants.

I am sure you can get a really good deal on some plants. 😉

As usual, I will be in the studio from 1pm on this week, apart from Friday.
Friday will only be later in the afternoon.
The weekend will be open from 11am.

The horticultural display won the great prize of ‘Best Pavilion Display’! 🥳🏆
The first time since 2013! Yay!

There are so many wonderful people involved in this years’ super successful Gympie District Show .

There is the amazing team of volunteers of the Horticultural Society, Ian, Anni, Narelle and Ben in the area of the indoor plants and the fantastic floral displays.
Many people who brought in their best plants to show them and of course the fabulous team of Odd Spot Plants , Lisa and Neil, who generously helped with the indoor plant display again.

Thank you to all of you. It is a pleasure to be part of it.

Such an honour to be amongst all the treasures on show.

Thank you to Odd Spot Plants as well who bred some of the most amazing plants on the market of rare plants.
