FMF CANBERRA 2026 | Official Update❗️

Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus,

I would like to let you know of an important update in relation to Freedom Music Festival Canberra, which concerns the Seed Event and the Festival proper, originally scheduled for 9–11 October 2026. We will be postponing Freedom Music Festival Canberra to early next year, 2027. Our team has been working hard to secure a suitable venue after several logistical shifts earlier this year. For those unaware, we had also explored the option of a smaller-scale pre-event, yet a suitable venue was not available.

We are at peace that we have worked to pursue a variety of different options, including the extensive completion of many relevant regulatory requirements at each turn. My priority is to walk in step with the Holy Spirit. My team and I are geared to walk the line in persistence in what we know we have been called to do, while listening intently to the gentleness of the Holy Spirit.

FMF is not just an event. It is about God and people, together in fellowship through the precious blood of Christ. It is about the hope of the Gospel to transform hearts, families, cities, and nations. It is about love for the people of this country whom God has called to be reconciled to Himself. Apart from the practicalities, our motivation in what might seem like a delay is to honour what God has started and given us to steward. We are looking forward with exuberant expectation to what awaits in 2027.

We would like to offer our sincere thanks to all who have been a part of the journey thus far, including but not limited to YWAM Canberra, friends and associates, and the beautiful family of believers we have enjoyed fellowship with in Canberra. Thank you for trusting the Lord, for praying, and for seeking the will of God.

Please stay connected for the rescheduled date. In the meantime, we invite you to FMF Eumundi on 13–15 November. The best is yet to come.

“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” Psalm 20:7

For the Harvest,

J-L and Casie Rathbone
Together with the JKOK FMF Team.
