Arts North West is a fabulous network to partner with … a great way to bring music and small touring to the North West, especially to special venues and smaller communities.

And that’s a wrap… roughly 1200km, 4 shows and (from what we’ve been told) about 400 punters who damn near cleaned us out of merch. Arts NW are an amazing mob, and the communities who rallied behind these shows are amazing people. Can’t wait to do it all again - with a healthier crew next time! Can’t bloody wait!!

ANW Connect: Venue Spotlight — Rusty Pickups Tour

A touring band only gets as far as the venues willing to host it. This week, that's happening across four spots in the New England North West:

Thursday 3 September - School of Arts, Tenterfield
Friday 4 September - The Roxy Theatre, Bingara
Saturday 5 September - Gunnedah Showground
Sunday 6 September - Baan Baa Hotel FREE EVENT

Not one of these venues are doing it for profit; each and every one of them has covered the cost themselves and kept tickets low, because getting people through the door matters way more than the bottom line.

These venues aren't just hosting a gig — they're the reason regional towns can experience a varied mix of live music at all.

JOIN ARTS NORTH WEST CONNECT, go on ;)

- Prioritised access to ANW ON TOUR opportunities
- Grants & funding alerts
- Free promotion across ANW channels
- Direct line into the region's arts network

Such a fantastic Sunday morning with Luke Kennedy and Irena Lysiuk from The Little Red Company! Our vocal students were incredibly fortunate to learn from two amazing artists who were so generous with their time, knowledge, and encouragement during a performance masterclass. Thank you both for an inspiring session.

Luke and Irena are in the region on a mini tour of the show Golden, A celebration of contemporary music’s golden hits. They have another performance at 3pm today at Capitol Theatre Tamworth.
