What a day! 💕🥂

Last month I had the pleasure of bringing together an amazing group of ladies for the SNT Ladies Bottomless Lunch for Brain Cancer at Berth Restaurant & Events, Docklands, raising money for brain cancer.

As the organiser, as well as the owner of Your Event Essentials, this one was particularly special. There’s something really rewarding about putting an event together from the very beginning, styling the room, bringing everyone together and knowing that we’re also raising money for a cause that affects so many families.

There was plenty of laughter, plenty of catching up, a beautiful waterfront setting and, of course, a few bubbles along the way! 🥂

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, supported the day, donated and helped make it such a wonderful afternoon.

Events are what I love, but events that bring people together for a good cause are even more special. đź’—

A night to celebrate the season and the people who made it happen!

For Mitcham FC’s Presentation Night at The Coach Inn, Ringwood, we styled the room around the club’s team colours, showing them through the centrepieces, chair covers and sashes with the black table covers as the base.

It’s always great seeing how a few well-chosen styling details can bring a club event together and give the room a real sense of occasion.

A beautiful 21st birthday setup at Berth Restaurant & Events, Docklands. We created a soft, romantic backdrop with a half arch of pastel roses and baby’s breath throughout, finished with tall glass vased candles at the base.

A pretty setup for marking a very special milestone in Melbourne’s Docklands. 💕

A little candlelight and greenery can go a long way in setting the mood for an evening of celebration.

For this awards dinner at 1 Hotel, Docklands, we styled the tables with three glass vases, candles and faux greenery, creating simple, elegant centrepieces with a lovely natural touch.

Our recent styling of the tables for KFC’s corporate event at the River Room, Crown Casino, Melbourne.

Three days before the Biomedicine Charity Ball at Crown Palladium, we had a last-minute change to solve.

Crown contacted me to let me know that glassware wasn’t permitted at the venue. Unfortunately, that meant the centrepiece the client had originally chosen could no longer be used.

With only three days to go, I had to think quickly and come up with an alternative that met the venue’s requirements while still giving the tables the look and feel the client wanted.

Thankfully, we found a solution that worked beautifully, and the client was very happy with the result.

These are the moments that remind me that event styling isn’t always just about making things look good. Sometimes it’s about being able to adapt, solve a problem and keep everything moving when plans suddenly change.

We recently styled this wedding ceremony at Berth Restaurant & Events in Docklands, with the stunning Melbourne waterfront providing the perfect backdrop.

There’s something so special about a ceremony surrounded by beautiful views, elegant styling and the people you love most. A gorgeous setting for the beginning of a very special celebration.

Recently, we had the pleasure of styling this beautiful corporate event at Metropolis Southgate, where elegance was all in the details. The round tables were finished with tall glass vase centrepieces filled with soft, luxurious feathers, adding height, texture, and a touch of sophistication to the space.

We had the pleasure of styling this beautiful Year 12 Formal at the stunning Plenty Ranges Arts & Convention Centre in South Morang.

Featuring elegant white chair covers, gold chair sashes and tall statement centrepieces, the room was transformed into a sophisticated space ready for students to celebrate this special milestone. The gold accents added warmth and elegance, while the centrepieces created a stunning focal point throughout the venue.
