My sister, Kelly, would have been 30 today 🎈
I spent the morning going through my hard drive of photos of Easters, Christmases, birthdays and family get-togethers. The houses we grew up in, the friends who came and went in different chapters of our lives, the classmates, work colleagues, distant cousins we never see any more. Each photo took me right back — to those places with those people. I could tell you the story of all of them, but most importantly, I could tell you exactly how each moment made me feel.
It’s an important reminder to invest in your photos too. Whether it’s a wedding or just a quiet moment at home — it’s always worth capturing. Book the photographer you love, record the video, make the reel. Do it all, and book them regularly. Because one day you’ll look back and wish you had more. More time, more photos, more videos. You’ll wish you could see the way they moved or hear their voice just one more time. You’ll want to remember the way those people made you feel — and the people who love you will treasure it too.
