7 years of cleaning flowers up after me…..
Lucky we make a great team, we always joke there should be a “He Follows Floral Design”
Honestly over the years Llews been my number one employee, supporter, bestfriend and of course now fiancé!
Over the years he’s climbed the floral ladder he’s now even trusted with filling in with greenery, ribboning and placing arrangements these days.
He’s come a long way!
But will always load the van, unload the van and clean up quicker than most!

How lucky am I!

So I’m just in the flower shed, getting ready for Mother’s Day, prepping buckets and vases and making sure the space is clean and ready to go, but I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and chat to you about something I always think about when I’m making flowers and writing your little messages, and that’s how special it is to be part of these moments in your lives. It almost feels like I’m a part of a little secret.
The messages I get to write are just so beautiful! Whether that’s to your mum, your grandma, your wife, your husband, your best friend, someone who needs cheering up, the “just because”, the “I’m thinking of you”.
It’s just so special, and I often think about it. I just thank you for trusting me and having me be part of these moments with flowers.

It’s the same with weddings and their love stories!

Celebrating & reflecting on 10 years of She Follows Floral Design!
Where do I begin? How do I share 10 years?
We will go back to 2016, where it all began — from a spark lit at a friend’s wedding. I remember looking up at the flowers & thinking, wow… someone does this for a living?!
That moment led me to researching florists in my area, sending a humble email to an incredibly talented florist asking if I could do some work experience… & receiving a simple reply along the lines of, “Honey, I don’t have any work, but you’re so welcome to come along and see what we do.”
That very florist took a chance on me & opened my eyes to a world of beauty, women’s empowerment, & creativity I never knew existed.�Thank you, Emma! Which led me to studying the art of flowers & from there everything evolved like a dream!
Over at , I’ll be taking you through the years as best I can — starting with 2016!

This journey hasn’t been all rainbows, butterflies, and flowers (& I think that’s important to share), but I can tell you it’s been an incredible one. I’m so thankful the flowers found me — & continue to find their way back to me.
Each year has looked different. I’ve grown, my style has evolved (thank goodness), & so has the way I run my business as I try to find balance along the way (hello burnout and injuries). One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is how important it is to look after yourself & your body, make space for play, & surround yourself with the people you love — & actually make time for them.
You need a strong support network & people in your corner. I couldn’t have done it without my business gal pals, couples, customers, followers, future couples/customers flower pals, my family, my friends, & of course Llew. But you also learn that you are in control — & only you can truly make your dreams a reality.
My journey is always unfolding, but I know this for sure: I need flowers, and flowers need me.

Big thank you to my beautiful cousin my logo is still going strong but it could be time for a rebrand ?

& a BIG BIG thank you to Scotty, Jane & more on that one as the journey unfolds!
