We would like to take this opportunity to announce that Kelly’s Party Hire will be rebranding to Behind The Scenes Event Hire.

In May we proudly became the new owners of BTS - a locally owned and family operated event hire business specialising in unique furniture items and decorative props. Previous owners Tanya and Jordan created a unique inventory list with a focus on their clients and quality rentals.

FINALLY….after a whirlwind 2 months of cramming our warehouse full on new rental items (rearrange our floor plan once or twice) whilst maintaining our busy event schedule we can start focusing on the rebranding and transition.

Our aim is to become the best and most extensive supplier of event rentals here on the Coast.

We cannot wait for the journey ahead and to continue working with great clients across the coast.

Change is coming. And it’s exciting. ☀️

Its been three years since we took over Kelly’s and during this time we have been trying to figure out what path we wanted to take the business down and how we were going to make it ours.

Like many business owners we have been in survival mode since Covid – just trying to keep our head above water. It’s been a wild ride so far and nothing like we expected when we took over the business in the beginning.

The last 18 months have tested us and challenged us but we are ready to make some changes, push ourselves once again outside of our comfort zone, take a risk and hope to the heavens above it pays off.

So, in short – we are making some changes. We will be rebranding and expanding. Our pages will look much the same but a little different. Although we are slowly changing we will still be the same business at its core – same quality equipment, affordable prices and most importantly excellent customer service.

Thank you to all the amazing clients that stuck with us postponing their events, and to all the nw clients that have been blowing up our emails and phones.

Day by day the Covid-19 situation continues to develop and change at a rapid rate, and given the immense uncertainty, fear & panic surrounding the virus we are 100% in uncharted territory.

We like many small business owners are facing & experiencing our greatest challenge yet. The past 24 hours we have been inundated with calls and emails regarding bookings and events and as we attempt to respond to everyone in a timely manner, we please ask for your patience to our delays in communication.

The safety and health of the public comes first and it is because of this we will be offering refunds on deposits or credits for postponements on any existing bookings we have.

Unfortunately moving forward we cannot offer refunds on any new bookings if cancellations occur. Our income stream is booking to booking, deposit to deposit and it is not feasible to continue running if we are to offer refunds for all bookings and cancellations.

We ask for your understanding and compassion during these uncertain times, as we try and adapt our business.

For now we are continuing business as usual, we are taking every precaution necessary to ensure that we operate in a safe manner for the public.
