I met Jess when we were just 16 years old. We grew up together, surrounded by the same circle of friends, sharing so many of those teenage years and memories.

As life does, we grew up, went our separate ways and became busy building lives of our own. Somewhere along the way, we lost touch.

Then, more than 25 years later (and yes, I’m definitely giving away my age here πŸ˜‚), Jess reached out and asked me to marry her and James. 🀍

What an incredibly special full circle moment. To stand beside someone I’d known since we were teenagers and have the honour of officiating one of the most important moments of her life was something I’ll never forget.

And the setting couldn’t have been more perfect, one of my favourite eclectic venues, Mobile Barber Shop Depot.

Some days just stay with you forever 🀍

This was one of them.

I had the absolute privilege of officiating the wedding of these two beautiful humans on the weekend, and my heart is still so full.

Erin, you were the most spectacular bride. Graceful, radiant and completely glowing from the inside out. Carlos, the love and admiration you have for her was written all over your face.

Standing there with you both, sharing in one of the most important moments of your lives, was something I will never forget.

Marriage isn’t just about finding the person you can live with. It’s about finding the person you can’t imagine living without. And anyone who knows these two knows they have found exactly that.

Thank you for trusting me with such a special role in your day.

Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, friendship, adventure and choosing each other every single day.
