With 200 guests, live acoustic music with Kelly Penney and live DJ - DJ VICES. 4 topless (and pant-less 🫢) waiters from Aus Topless Waiters, 2 Meter Maids Gold Coast Meter Maids, and two stunning Burlesque girls in a human size martini glass Chique Entertainment - we partied like it was 1999! It was definitely a night to remember!!

Have you thought about a Wedding Doula!

I received a message from a bride recently that made me so friggen stoked. How funny that two words could be so powerful to hear and perfectly summarise how I approach my work. Those words…

•WEDDING DOULA•

Like I mean, f**k yes, that’s me!
A doula is described as
“a person employed to provide guidance and support to the pregnant birthing parent”
My photography is good, like I can sling a good photo, but I don’t think I’m the best in the world at it.
But I think I’m really f**king good at being my couples number one advocator of a seamless good time. 💃🕺👯‍♀️👯‍♂️I put so much emphasis on making space for my couples to enjoy their day whilst balancing the art of photography.. this happens by me problem solving 1000 different scenarios that I can see will potentially negatively effect their day.. I’ve shot over 500 weddings in the last 10 years and with that experience I’ve honed my skill set of thinking ahead always for my couple, wether that be forcing them to eat or taking them for a “quick photo” so they can have some breathing space from their tipsy family whom insist on 163 combos of photos at 9pm .
I’ve seen the good, bad and ugly of weddings and have interacted with 40,000+ guests, vendors and their personalities whom all individually can derail your day.. not on my clock. Ha. I’m your bodyguard and love to de escalate or get someone on the job to make sure you’re none the wiser.

My enthusiasm to get amongst it all and be more than just a photographer is not for everyone. I totally appreciate some couples want a fly on the wall who doesn’t insert themselves anywhere besides making photos but this is why I’ve never advertised.. when you invite me to be in your wedding, you know you have more than just a photographer coming.. I’m your new best friend, your unofficial bridesmaid/man/person, bodyguard, chef, seamstress, MUA, hairstylist, chauffeur, mindfulness coach, dance floor starter and FU***NG WEDDING DOULA🤙🤙

Feeling real darn grateful that my fire for photographing humans keeps burning brighter more every year 🔥🥲
