IT'S LIKE RAIN ON YOUR WEDDING DAY (THANKS ALANIS FOR JINXING US😂):demezieres & were
married on 03.05.25 - what a stunning venue but I'm not going to lie… this ceremony had drama! The radar told us the rain would skirt around us — LIES. Mid-ceremony, just before the vows (of course), the wind picked up, the welcome sign went flying (RIP) & down came the rain. We thought we could keep going with clear umbrellas, but we all hightailed it to a nearby undercover spot. Cue the moment of “Do we keep going here? Do we wait it out?”Thankfully, the squall passed quickly. The legends at the venue wiped the chairs down & we were back in action in no time. I may have kicked off Part 2 with a casual, “Now, where were we before we were rudely interrupted?” 🤣

And here’s the best bit: Brandon and Celeste did not miss a beat & kept their cool. No stress. No tantrums. Just big smiles & so much love. Because when you focus on what truly matters — marrying the love of your life— the rest is just part of the story.

So to all my future couples: don’t aim for perfect. Aim for present. Rain, wind, or wild weather — I promise you no matter what, by the end of the ceremony, you will walk away married. And that’s what counts. 🙌 Brandon & Celeste — you two rock 💛

LET ME BE YOUR SUNFLOWER CELEBRANT: If I were a flower, I’d be a 🌻: I'm bright, bold, happy & always facing the light that radiates from the loved-up couples I'm marrying (ooh, and I’m tall 🤣🤣). I snapped this selfie just after marrying the fabulous funsters Johnny and Cahlia at Farm & Co (Cudgen) — their ceremony had it all, and honestly, this photo felt like the perfect metaphor for the type of ceremonies I love to deliver: sunny, relaxed, a little bit wild, but with a whole lot of heart. I literally was grinning like an idiot — because the vibe was that good. With me as your celebrant, I promise there will be no awkward silences or cold clichés. Just a whole lot of genuine moments, belly laughs & telling your love story so it actually sounds like you. No boring weddings on my watch: When you’ve been engaged for 25 YEARS (yep, a quarter of a century), your wedding day can’t just be ‘nice’ - it has to be EPIC. Darrin & knew it & I knew it. So they left their home in freezing England to jump on a plane & landed in sunny Australia with one mission: to finally say “I do” on the golden sands of Bilinga Beach. So on 21.12.24, under a bright blue sky & with the sun so hot, it burnt our feet, we didn’t just get them married…WE CELEBRATED THEM, BIG TIME Because when a couple has waited that long for their dream day, you CANNOT let the vibe slip into Dullsville. You crank up the energy & the laughs so it's all about the big happy feels. So my tip for you is this: Don’t settle for a celebrant who treats your wedding like just another day at the office. Get someone who’s as pumped as you are – someone who makes sure you & your guests feel the love, the joy & the excitement from start to finish. FUN CEREMONY? WITH ME, IT ALWAYS IS: Emelia & Nav were a bit nervous about their ceremony especially saying their vows in front of all their guests ... but could you tell? They seriously nailed being cool, calm & collected (& we had some great laughs)...and that's my job! I'm all about making sure you are relaxed & actually have fun during your ceremony! The Guymer Girls are now all married off! 💍
It’s official… I’ve married every single Guymer sister! From .jade.slater in 2016 (L), to in 2019 (R) & then finally it was their baby sister turn to be a bride on 06.06.25. I’ve been on a 9-year wedding journey & I’ve loved every second of it.
Three sisters. Three weddings. Three very different days & three very different grooms 😂 — but all 3 weddings had 1 thing in common: excellent taste in marriage celebrants 😜
These girls have been in each other’s bridal parties from day one & luckily I managed to wrangle myself into a sandwich for this pic. And thank goodness we had the brainwave to grab the photo when we did because the sunset .and.co that day was almost as stunning as these three sisters!
There may be no more left for me to marry, but what a privilege it’s been to be part of such love-filled, joyful, slightly chaotic (in the best way) wedding days with these stunning sisters.

FROM ENGINEERING STUDENTS TO HUBBY & WIFE: Gorgeous .demezieres was used to being one of very few girls in her Engineering lectures & really just was '1 of the boys'. That is, up until the day she walked into her first lecture of Communications Systems in 2017 & spotted ...& she instantly regretted wearing daggy active wear that day! Not that it mattered as Brandon had no idea he was the object of Celeste's desire until weeks later when a mutual friend finally put her out of her misery & introduced them (& her wardrobe choices had improved considerably by this point). They began to hang out under the guise of studying together & finally, at the end of that semester, when they were celebrating finishing their exams at a bar, Brandon drank enough amber liquid courage to tell Celeste how he felt about her....& she quickly let him know the feeling was mutual. Since then, they have graduated, got jobs, travelled extensively & bought a house. They really have 'engineered' the perfect relationship & despite a little bit of wild weather at the start of their ceremony, they nailed the perfect wedding day too. It was my complete privilege to meet & marry Brandon & Celeste, such a gorgeous & fun couple!
