To our beautiful girl Claudia, today is such a special day, and we couldn’t let it pass without telling you just how much you mean to us.

From the moment you joined Ivy & Bleu we knew it something special, through countless weddings, long days, late nights, celebrations, road trips to the Hunter & hayman island nights, laughter and memories, you became part of our little Ivy & Bleu family. Watching you grow into your new career, and now stand here marrying the love of your life is incredibly special for us all to be apart off

You’ve been apart of making so many days perfect for others now it’s your turn to be celebrated.

We are stupid excited to spend today by your side, celebrating you and Hamish as you begin this new chapter together. We hope your wedding day is everything you’ve ever dreamed of and more — filled with love, laughter, happy tears, and memories that will last a lifetime (although we know it will be cause we’ll all be there 😂)

Over the past year, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on what I want life and business to look like moving forward.

The answer keeps bringing me back to the same place simplicity.

A slower pace. Less pressure. More creativity. More presence. More time spent doing the things that made me fall in love with this industry in the first place.

Ivy Bleu. was never created to be a large company. It was built from a love of flowers, beautiful celebrations, and connecting with people.

As the business has grown, so have the responsibilities, overheads, thepressures that come with it. The reality of providing for others at the cost of providing for yourself. Of never being willing to compromise on the quality of your work, so instead you quietly absorb the difference yourself. Cutting into your own profit, your own time, and sometimes your own personal resources, simply because delivering something extraordinary matters more than the bottom line. Of carrying the responsibility of managing people, even when those people are people you love, adore, and consider family. And while I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve built, I’ve realised that growth isn’t always about getting bigger. Sometimes it’s about becoming more sustainable.

Over the past few months I have starting making decisions to simplify my world and take things back to the core principles that this business was founded on.

Me, my family, and the work that fills my cup.
Of course, when I say family, that extends far beyond my home. Over the last five years we have built an incredible team and those people aren’t going anywhere. They are part of the Ivy Bleu. family and will absolutely continue to be involved in our larger scale weddings and events.

What is changing is the scope.

We’re not shrinking. We’re refining.

Because success no longer looks like having the biggest team, the busiest schedule or the highest turnover. To me, success looks like creating a business that supports my life rather than consumes it. For me it’s getting to do the things that started as my passion … the flowers, the planning, being onsite with my venues & my vendors…

honestly, that feels a little bit like coming home
