Let’s talk 🤍 Hi, I’m Melissa Mallard, a Commonwealth-registered Civil Celebrant based on the Gold Coast. I create heartfelt, personal ceremonies that reflect the people at the centre of them. Whether that’s celebrating a marriage, honouring a life, or welcoming a new little human.🤍
I work across weddings, funerals and memorials, and baby naming ceremonies, and I believe every ceremony should feel meaningful, genuine and never one-size-fits-all. My role is to guide you through the process with care, warmth and clarity, and to tell your story in a way that feels true to you. What a beautiful day celebrating the wedding of Nick and Shannon!🤍🥂

Surrounded by their closest family and friends, these two shared such a lovely, intimate ceremony filled with love and some very special personal touches.

Of course, we can’t forget their gorgeous fur baby Ollie, who had the very important job of ring bearer! 🐾 Looking absolutely adorable in his little tartan coat, perfectly matching his dad’s waistcoat. Honestly, how cute is that! 😍

Another beautiful moment was a heartfelt poem read by their niece, adding such a lovely personal touch to an already special ceremony.

Nick and Shannon, thank you so much for choosing me to be your celebrant. It was an absolute pleasure to share in your special day and help you celebrate this wonderful milestone in your lives.

What a beautiful day yesterday celebrating Molly & Brayden!🤍

After a stormy start to the morning, Mother Nature was very kind to us and delivered the most beautiful blue skies just in time for their ceremony. ☀️

Only one word for this wedding GORGEOUS!! The florals were absolutely stunning, perfectly matching each of the bridesmaids’ dresses in the prettiest spring colours. 🌸and the bride…… absolutely exquisite 🥰

There were some very special family touches too, with Molly and Brayden’s nieces and nephew doing a fantastic job as flower girls and ring bearer and a very sweet surprise for their mums, who had no idea they had been chosen to be the witnesses for the signing! 🥰

Molly & Brayden, thank you so much for choosing me to be your celebrant. I loved every minute of being part of your beautiful day and wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness together. 🤍

Well… the results are in!! 🥂

I am absolutely thrilled to share that my Celebrant business Perfect 10 Civil Ceremonies has been recognised in the TOP 5 in my category at the 2026 Gold Coast & Scenic Rim Wedding Industry Awards!💍✨

Being recognised in the Top 5 amongst so many wonderful wedding businesses is something I’m incredibly proud of but the part that means the most to me is that this recognition came from my beautiful newlywed couples💗

You were the ones who voted for me, supported me and took the time to show a little love for what I do, and I honestly can’t thank you enough.

I get to do a job that I absolutely LOVE. I get to meet amazing people, hear your stories, share plenty of laughs, calm a few nerves, and stand beside you for one of the biggest moments of your lives. To know that the work I put into making those moments special has been recognised like this is incredibly rewarding.

What a day for Alex & Aiesha! 🤍

Before we even officially started, these two took a little Polaroid photo of each other at the end of the aisle, capturing exactly what they were each seeing in that moment. Such a gorgeous little memory to keep from their day.

Then came the vows... but first, a very important decision had to be made. Two little bottles, one filled with water and one with vodka. Whoever got the vodka had to read their vows first! 😂🥃

Their gorgeous dogs Indi and Olive also had a very important job as ring bearers, and absolutely understood the assignment. 🐾

Such a beautiful day at Cowbell Creek celebrating these two, with plenty of laughs, lots of love and so many personal little touches that made the ceremony completely theirs.

Introducing Mr & Mrs Chowhan! 🤍
A little rain meant Plan B was called into action for Dhiran and Alice yesterday, but if there’s one thing weddings teach us, it’s that sometimes Plan B turns out beautifully!
Their ceremony was intimate, relaxed and filled with so much love, laughter and personality. They shared beautiful personal vows, there were plenty of laughs along the way, and despite the change in plans, everything came together perfectly.
There was something extra special about this wedding for me too. 3 years ago, I had the privilege of marrying Alice’s Mum and Step Dad in Brisbane, so being invited back for another very special celebration in their family and getting to catch up with them again was fab! 🤍
Dhiran and Alice, thank you for trusting me to be part of your day and for taking the weather and the last-minute change of plans completely in your stride. It was beautiful, it was personal, and most importantly, it was completely you.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Chowhan! 🥂 I wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter and plenty more adventures together.

What a day for Lauren & Kiran! 🤍
Set amongst the beautiful surrounds of Kwila Lodge, their wedding was relaxed, full of laughs, a little bit cheeky and completely, unmistakably them.🥰
Their story has always had plenty of personality, from breaking their own first-date rules, to moving in together after just two and a half weeks, and somehow knowing very quickly that they’d found their person. So it seemed only fitting that their wedding day had that same energy.
There was so much love in this intimate celebration, but also plenty of laughter, which is exactly how these two like it.
Lauren & Kiran, it was such a pleasure getting to know you both, sharing your story and being the one lucky enough to officially pronounce you married.
What a beautiful way to celebrate everything you’ve already built together, and everything that’s still to come. 🤍

💍 LYN & PHIL ARE MARRIED!🥂🤍

What a beautiful day celebrating Lyn and Phil last weekend as they made it official at The Collective - Palm
beach!

Their ceremony was small, intimate and filled with the people who matter most….their closest family and friends, who all gathered together to share such a special moment with them.

There was also a lovely familiar face waiting for me! It was so wonderful to catch up with Lyn’s daughter Nat and her husband Mitch, who I had the pleasure of marrying back in 2019. ❤️

One of the most special parts of being a Celebrant is being invited back for another celebration within the same family. It really does mean so much to me and is something I never take for granted.

Well, this is VERY exciting news to share!!
I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that Perfect 10 Civil Ceremonies aka me…..is a FINALIST in the 2026 Gold Coast & Scenic Rim Wedding Industry Awards! 💍✨

A massive THANK YOU to all of my beautiful couples who took the time to vote for me. When I put that little voting post up back in July, I was so grateful for every bit of support, and to now find out that I’ve made it through as a finalist is such an incredible feeling. 🥰

I absolutely love what I do. Being trusted to tell your stories, stand beside you on one of the biggest days of your lives and create ceremonies that feel completely you is pretty special. To then receive recognition like this from the couples I’ve had the privilege of marrying makes it even more rewarding. 💕

I’m so happy to introduce another one of my gorgeous couples, Nick & Shannon, who will be saying “I do” this October!🤍

Their wedding will be a beautiful, intimate celebration held at a family property, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them and I already know it’s going to be such a special day.

These two are just so lovely, and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know them and working together to create a ceremony that feels completely “them”.
