🚨 Important Update for US Customers 🚨

We have made the difficult decision to stop shipping to the USA for now. This is not something we want to do, but the situation with US Customs has become unworkable.

After speaking with my courier company Interparcel (who I use to book UPS shipments), I’ve been told that customs and tariff charges are not regulated. US Customs can charge any amount they choose, and it does not have to stick to the 10% tariff rate we were originally told. As customs gets busier, these charges are also likely to increase, and a brokerage fee is added at their discretion.

Courier companies are not given clear information either, which means they cannot provide answers to us or to customers. Interparcel has advised me to stop shipping to the US because there is no way to give customers an accurate answer about how much they will be charged.

If you are a US customer facing unexpected charges, there are a couple of options:

Call UPS US on 1-800-782-7892 to dispute the charge (may delay delivery and not guaranteed).

Call the UPS Brokerage and Billing Team on 1-866-493-7140 (option 5) to discuss charges directly.

Please also understand that if a package is refused, I am still billed for the tariff and return shipping. This means any refund is minus the original shipping, tariff, and return fees, making refunds very minimal.

Australia Post has introduced a tariff collection system, but it is not working. Interparcel plans to release one too, but there is no date yet.

Until there is a clearer, fairer system, we cannot accept new US orders. We will still assist customers with open orders, but no new shipments will go out until this improves.

We hope this situation changes soon so we can continue serving our US customers. Thank you for your understanding.
