Just wrapped up the most beautiful early morning ceremony.
It was an intimate gathering, just the bride, groom, their beloved fur baby, the makeup artist, and the photographer (who both stepped in as witnesses).

The groom surprised his bride with a heartfelt prayer, thanking God for her and asking for guidance to be the best husband he can be.

There were smiles, laughter, and tears of joy. A perfect reminder that love doesn’t need a crowd to be powerful. ❤️

Can't wait to see the photos by Sumiko Takesue Eyears I know they will be amazing as always!

✨ WEDDING MAGIC ALERT ✨

I had the absolute privilege of officiating the wedding of Maddi & James at the spectacular The Balligio, Hope Island. 💍

These two lovebirds have the most heartwarming love story from kindergarten sweethearts to walking down the aisle together! 💕 Although life took them on different paths during high school, destiny clearly had other plans. They found their way back to each other, and it’s been happily ever after ever since.

Maddi and James are the kind of couple who radiate warmth, laughter, and a beautiful sense of calm. Easygoing, genuine, and full of love. It was such a joy to be part of their big day. 💫

Wishing you both a lifetime of love, adventure, and shared smiles! 🥂

Looking like they’d stepped straight out of a bridal magazine, this stunning couple had a wedding day that was as heartfelt as it was beautiful. The bride’s incredible attention to detail paid off in every way from the styling to the atmosphere, everything was just perfect.

One of the most touching moments was when their two adorable little girls walked down the aisle ahead of the bride, bringing the groom to tears as they ran up to give him a hug. He had to turn away to compose himself before his bride made her entrance, but when he saw her, the waterworks returned, and it was impossible not to feel the love in the air.

Their ceremony was filled with emotion, laughter, and heartfelt personal vows. At one point, their youngest daughter even came up for a cuddle mid-ceremony, a tender family moment that made the day even more special.

It was also such a joy for me personally, as this bride was the fourth person in their friend group whose wedding I’ve had the honour of officiating. It’s incredibly special to be welcomed back into the circle time and time again.

These are the moments that remind me why I love what I do. 💍✨

✨ One of the absolute highlights of my celebrant journey happened on 6/9/25 when I had the honour and joy of officiating the marriage of one of my best friends. 💍💕

After 25 incredible years together, they finally made it official and true to form, they did it their way. The joy in the air was palpable.

It was a beautiful morning ceremony held in the sanctuary of their home, surrounded by a small group of their nearest and dearest (including their dapper furbaby, who looked very sharp in his little bowtie 🐾🎀). After some heartfelt vows, happy tears, and plenty of laughter, we shared some drinks and nibbles to mark the moment.

But in classic “them” style, the surprises didn’t stop there because later that day, at what was supposed to be the bride’s 50th birthday bash, they dropped the big news: they’d tied the knot! 🎉💫 Cue more cheers, more hugs, and one truly epic celebration.

It was authentic, relaxed, love-filled and unforgettable — just like them. I'm beyond grateful to have played a part in such a meaningful day. ❤️

🔔 Being a Marriage Celebrant – More Than Just "Saying the Words" 💍📚

Many people see the joy and celebration side of our work – and yes, it's a privilege to be part of such meaningful moments. But what’s often unseen is the deep legal responsibility and professional accountability that comes with being a registered marriage celebrant in Australia.

As part of our ongoing legal obligations, we are required to complete compulsory annual professional development to ensure we uphold the law and protect the rights of those we marry.

✅ This year, I’ve completed: • Knowledge of the Law (No. 1) – Compulsory (25AGD002)
• Real Consent (2025 Refresher) – Compulsory (25AGD001)

These modules cover essential updates and legal clarity around real consent and the legislative framework we operate within. It's serious stuff – and rightly so.

Behind every ceremony is a qualified professional ensuring everything is legally sound and ethically conducted. ✨

Before she walked down the aisle, the bride surprised her groom with a recording of their little girl. Her sweet voice filling the air and setting the tone for a deeply personal ceremony. They shared heartfelt vows, exchanged rings, and sealed their love with a seven ribbon handfasting that bound their hearts in colour and meaning. A truely magical celebration of love.💖

A huge congratulations to the the beautiful Mr and Mrs Zac and Shenae Rollins-Ford! You special people really touched my heart and I feel so lucky to play a small part in your beautiful story.

A jetty, a bride, a groom, their daughter, and two witnesses. That's all it took to create a moment of pure joy. After the vows, the groom danced with his new bride and their little girl at her sweet request. It was quiet, personal, and perfect. 💞

Sometimes it's hard not to shed a tear when watching a bride and her party walk the aisle and this was one of those times. I worked with this lovely bride many years ago and cared for her two babies (now young ladies) in a child care setting. My job is not a job at times like this. Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos with me Mr & Mrs Stafford ❤️
