A gala designed to come alive after dark.

For the Ramsay Pharmacy Gala Dinner, we created a bold, cinematic environment where lighting, scale and entertainment worked together to shift the room from dinner to celebration.

A palette of electric pinks and purples washed across the space, while hundreds of points of warm candlelight brought intimacy to the tables and balanced the energy overhead.

From the first arrival to a very full dance floor, every element was designed with the guest experience in mind, creating a room that could feel sophisticated one moment and completely electric the next.

A space changes the way your body feels.

That’s why, when I design an event, I’m not only thinking about what a space will look like, I’m thinking about how a guest will experience it.

What do they feel when they arrive? Where does their eye go? How do they move through the space? Does it create anticipation, intimacy, curiosity, excitement or awe?

Beautiful is only part of the job, the real magic is designing how it feels to be there.

100 years deserves more than a celebration.

From the first guest arrival to the final performance, every element of the evening was considered to create something that felt worthy of the milestone: warm, vibrant, generous and full of life.

A century of connection, celebrated in colour.

For Interrelate’s 100 Year Celebration in Sydney, we created a cocktail event built around a striking palette of deep red, violet and gold, rich velvet draping, sculptural florals, warm lighting and layered colour transforming the space as evening fell.

The design was bold without overwhelming the reason everyone was there: to celebrate 100 years of an organisation built around people, relationships and connection.

Live music, champagne, stories spanning generations and a room filled with those who have been part of Interrelate’s remarkable history.

It was an absolute privilege to help bring this milestone to life.

August was… a lot 🤷🏻‍♀️

We did site visits, client events, a conference, a building launch, approximately 47,000 emails and enough logistics to qualify as a small transport company.

Naturally, I thought it would be quiet and booked a ski holiday in what turned out to be one of the busiest weeks of the year.

But the A-Team were on it 😎

This one feels personal. ❤️

I’m incredibly proud to share that Event Society has been named a finalist in the Event Services category at the 2026 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards, and I’ve also been named a finalist for Influential Woman.

The second one, in particular, means a lot to me.

I don’t have hundreds of thousands of followers. I don’t have a huge platform. But I’ve never believed influence is measured by the size of your audience.

I think it’s measured by what you do with the space you do occupy.

I’ve always tried to be a woman who champions other women. Who shares what I’ve learned. Who celebrates other women’s success rather than feeling threatened by it. Who leads with kindness, but isn’t afraid to have the hard conversations.

And within Event Society, I’ve worked hard to create the kind of workplace I believe women deserve, particularly working mothers. A workplace where being brilliant at your job and being present for your family don’t have to compete with each other. Where flexibility, understanding and humanity aren’t perks; they’re simply part of how we work.

I’m still building. Still learning. And hopefully, still becoming more influential.

But if influence means leaving the people around you a little more supported, confident and capable than you found them, then yes, I’m really proud to call myself an influential woman.

And to have both myself and Event Society recognised nationally feels pretty bloody special. ❤️🏆

Event Society has been named a National Nominee for Small Event Agency of the Year at the Australian Event Awards. 🏆

And this one feels particularly special.

We are a small, tight-knit team, but the scale, complexity and ambition of the work we produce is anything but small.

We work across corporate, government, community and cause-led events, often taking on projects that require an enormous amount of creativity, problem-solving, logistics and sheer determination behind the scenes.

We’ve always believed that the size of an agency doesn’t determine the size of its ideas - or its impact.

This one is about the whole team. ❤️

We are incredibly proud to announce that Event Society has been named a National Nominee for Corporate Event Agency of the Year at the Australian Event Awards. 🏆

To be recognised at a national level for the work we do across corporate events is a pretty incredible moment for our little Gold Coast agency.

Behind every event is a team that cares deeply about the details, the strategy, the design, the logistics, the guest experience and, most importantly, how people feel when they walk into the room. Their names are Louise, Monique, Belinda and me… Decinda 🤓
