Mind the gap!

The moment when I passed the Tiffany & Co. ring to J, after he had spent the morning patting his pocket to check the box was safe, was filled with anticipation (for A) and trepidation (for me). We were stood on the bow of gently rocking on the Nerang River, Surfers Paradise, and my mind wouldn't stop repeating the old London Tube announcement "Mind The Gap". There were so many gaps for a gorgeous ring to tumble into, but the exchange was perfect and the relief was palpable.

3 things, just three, needed to get married.

The trends mean nothing.
There isn't 'a season'.
The must-haves really aren't 'musts'.
The obligations and traditions are not requirements.

I love what I do as a celebrant, but I hate the pressure that comes with the 'W' word and the marketing schtick that goes with it.

I am all about keeping it calm, relaxed and with the two of you in focus. If we have the two of you, a location and me, we can get you married in a way that is meaningful to you both.

Everything else? It is a beautiful bonus, a bonus that the two of you get to choose. If this sounds like the day you would like to have, I am here to help.💋

These photos are from a gorgeous, intimate wedding I conducted in July. The little ones Mum and Dad said their I Do's, so it was only natural that they sign (or paint) something to make it official for them too. I love finding ways to include those special to you, because your wedding day should reflect all the people who matter most to the two of you.
