Last weekend, I had the honour of marrying these two incredible individuals and it wasn’t just a wedding day… it was a celebration of love, life, and the exciting announcement of their baby girl. 💕

Krysti & Kayley brought effortless love, beautiful style, and a whole lot of joy to their day.

One of the most special parts of being a celebrant is that my connection with couples doesn’t end at the altar. I get to witness their love grow, their families expand, and their dreams unfold.

# Why I am a celebrant? I recently came across a review on another celebrant that said, “It was so nice to meet you on our wedding day.” And honestly, I was gob smacked! How could you work with a celebrant and not meet them face-to-face before such a huge moment in your life?

For me, being a celebrant is so much more than just showing up on the day. What I love most, and what I truly pride myself on is the lifelong friendships I build with my couples. That connection starts well before your wedding day and continues long after.

Couples, your celebrant plays a key role in your day, so you should feel completely confident, relaxed, and know without a doubt that they are with you every step of the way. Through the excitement, the planning, and even the stressful moments, I’ll be right there beside you, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Bubbles and confetti — there’s an art to getting the perfect photo effects when using them. I’m not a professional photographer, but I’ve witnessed enough “bloopers” to know that timing is everything. My role is to work with your guests before the ceremony to discuss what we’re looking to achieve on the day. For bubbles, it’s all about blowing softly into the sky so they float gently down as the couple walks the aisle. For confetti, it’s the same — a soft toss upwards creates a dreamy cascade.

Take Ashton and Ryan’s wedding as an example. In the first photo, you’ll see me waving my arms to help guests time their bubbles perfectly. The result? Pure magic. The second photo taken by Benny Belle at Tone_finesse captures them in a moment that feels like a scene from a romantic movie — bubbles floating around them as they sealed their vows with a kiss. Their day was a perfect blend of love, laughter, and a good splash of beer — just the way they like it.

Adding these little touches creates beautiful memories, and getting the guests involved makes them feel like a special part of your day. After all, these are the moments that end up framed on your wall. moments
