From our first conversations while they live in London to finally bringing everything together here on the Gold Coast, it was so meaningful to be part of this chapter for these two.

Jakob and Emma have such a beautiful elegance about them. Their day was filled with the most incredible florals, sunshine and a gathering of their favourite people that felt every bit as special as they are.

A day full of meaning, thoughtful details and so much love. And a little bittersweet when it was time for me to say goodbye to Jakob Brown EM BROWN

They’re a powerhouse in business, in life, and clearly in the way they love each other.

Their rooftop celebration at The Calile had all the good stuff: incredible florals and styling by FOR LOVE & LIVING , the most beautiful vocals from LILY PAPAS, Calile Spritz cocktails and all of their favourite people there to celebrate them.

But more than anything, there was this undeniable energy.
You could feel just how loved these two are.

I’ve never had 120 people jump out of their seats and erupt into cheers before I’d even instructed them to. No one could contain the excitement.

It was loud, emotional, completely full of life and I absolutely loved being part of it.

I’ll never forget this one.

Sunshine, spicy margaritas, b**r boys setting the tone, Cleo delivering the rings and so much love.

Their wedding at Osteria was one of those days that just felt really fun. Relaxed, full of personality, surrounded by the people they love, with plenty of laughs, tears during their gorgeous vows and so many special moments in between.

You probably know a lot about the weddings I do, but maybe not much about the person behind them.

I’ll be the first to admit I’m pretty bad at sharing the me behind this business.

So, here’s a little bit of me…
I’m Sarah. I’m married to my favourite person (11 years tomorrow!) and mum to two little girls, Evie and Isla, who keep life pretty full when I’m not at weddings.

I’ve been a celebrant for six years now. I received my celebrancy certificate during COVID, while pregnant with my second baby and working full-time… because apparently that felt like a good time to add something else to my plate.

I’m also an introvert. Which, I know, seems slightly ironic considering I stand in front of a room full of people for a living.

But I’ve always loved performing. Theatre, drama, storytelling, anything that makes you feel something. I was the kid who was always in a school play, performing on a stage or heading off to drama class as an afterschool activity.

I love the stage. I just don’t necessarily love being the centre of attention.

And maybe that’s why being a celebrant feels so right for me.

I get to be part of something incredibly important, without needing to be the important part.

Your story. Your people. Your moment.

If I can make you laugh, get a few tears happening and give you a moment where you both forget there’s a room full of people watching… that’s when I know I’ve got it right.

Set at Ava’s parents’ home in West End, the place she grew up, their day had this beautiful sense of ease about it.

Elegant and considered, but never overdone. Great food, plenty of drinks, music by Kyle Bryant Music, lots of laughter and all the people they love most gathered in one place.

And of course, fur baby Tilly had her front-row seat, watching on as Mum and Dad tied the knot. 🐾

There was something really special about celebrating their marriage in a place that already meant so much to Ava and her family.

A beautiful day, in the most natural and effortless way.

I LOVED being a part of this one.

Some love stories come full circle.

From preschool friends and childhood neighbours living right across the road from each other, to classmates growing up side by side, Katie and Ryan were part of each other’s worlds for years before their families moved away and in different directions.

Then, years later, they found their way back to each other and fell in love with their adult selves.

Their wedding day at Cowbell Creek was filled with giggles, beautiful moments and so much love. The kind of love that feels like it was always meant to be.

What a beautiful story to witness and retell. ✨
