Please welcome your adjudicator for our August 9th event on the Gold Coast AMY-LEE Choreography & Creative 💜
Amy-Lee began her dance training at a young age, studying extensively in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Lyrical. She graduated from the Queensland Dance School of Excellence with a Diploma of Dance before furthering her training at Patrick Studios Australia in Melbourne.
Following her training, Amy-Lee embarked on an international performing career, spending five years as a dancer and featured aerialist with Royal Caribbean International. During this time she travelled extensively, performing in world class productions across the globe and gaining invaluable experience as a versatile commercial performer.
Since returning to Australia in late 2019, Amy-Lee has developed a strong passion for teaching, mentoring and choreographing the next generation of dancers. Alongside her teaching career, she has continued to perform professionally, appearing in the casts of Cabaret de Paris (2020–2022), Finesse Burlesque, and most recently performing with Pink Flamingo in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast.
Amy-Lee is committed to fostering both technical excellence and artistic growth in young performers. Her extensive industry experience, combined with her dedication to dance allows her to provide constructive, insightful and encouraging feedback to dancers of all ages, levels and genres. She is looking forward to celebrating the passion, hard work and talent showcased throughout the competition.
