Name change after marriage 💋

A little confusing so let’s clear this one up.
Your marriage certificate issued from BDM will not show a ‘new married name’

It’s proof that you are now legally married and entitled to change your names to your spouse’s either combined or hyphenated

Each government department and organisation will need sight your certificate and update your name in their system.

A complete change of name however is a different process altogether

2026 Trending Ceremonies

Handfasting rituals are becoming a popular request alongside other beautiful rituals that are being asked more and more often

Nothing excites me more then a ritual included in ceremony accompanied by a themed wedding ✨

To marry on Halloween is to step into ancient energy, where love transcends time, and the veil between worlds feels thin and full of rich meaning

And no, you’re not worshipping darkness, yourself honouring life, ancestry, and the eternal thread of love in this lifetime and the next 🖤

I do love a good themed wedding, if you are wanting your ceremony to hold deep rich meaning with ritual and connection, I’d love to connect with you ✨

Gone are the days of just watching a wedding,
Today’s couples want their guests to feel something, to be apart of the magic and apart of the memory 🖤

Creating this magic with you is my art work at its best. My personal rituals and behind the scene crafting is something I can’t quite put into words but into the feeling and emotion I express through ceremony

Did you know?
Your ceremony can include rituals and other ways to symbolise your union

Viking weddings of ancient and modern would drink from horn filled with mead, a sweet honey alcohol symbolising love, fertility, and new beginnings shared.

Including your witnesses this beverage is meant to be shared and saluted to the gods, to love fiercely, connect deeply and live a life full of sweetness SKAL🍺

If this is a ritual you would LOVE to include in your ceremony, I’d be honoured to facilitate such a celebration with such significance and union 💛

The Art of Sacred Drumming ✨

The drum is one of humanity’s oldest instruments, a heartbeat that connects us to the pulse of the earth and to one another.
Across cultures and centuries, drumming has been used in rituals, ceremonies, and celebrations to call people together, mark transitions and open sacred space.

Each beat is a prayer, a vibration that moves through air, land, and spirit aligning those who hear.
To incorporate such a sacred vibration into your wedding is to invite a heartbeat in to your ceremony. A rhythm that grounds, awakens and unites all who gather.

Drum can be used to open your ceremony, your joining of hands, sealing of your vows, or as you walk forward together as equals.

So my question to you, is will you be inviting sacred drum into your wedding ceremony?
Because I’d love to be the one drumming to it’s heartbeat 🖤✨

A hand fasting ceremony can be shared with the two of you, and also your near and dear.

Including children, grandparents, or parents in this ceremony can make it feel so warming and significant.

Your wedding day should be a representation of your lives, your truth, your love.

I’d be honoured to create a sacred ceremony for you, and even your handfasting cord ✨
