IMPORTANT VOLLEYBALL UPDATE 🏐

The Volleyball After School Competition will now start on Monday 2 November, one week later than originally planned.

All games will take place at Moonah Sports Centre on Monday afternoons from 4-6pm.

Students must have returned their permission form and paid the $20 fee to the Front Office before they can play. If you haven't done this yet, please make sure it is completed as soon as possible.

We can't wait to see our two teams out on the court representing MBHS! 💪🏐

Day 3 of the Music Tour - saw our group slow the pace slightly and enjoy the sites of the North/West. They visited Devonport Bluff a park and walk to the lighthouse followed by pizza at Valentino’s.

Yesterday 7B made Beef Chow Mein. While we used skillets instead of woks, the recipe is extremely flexible and the students worked with energy and enthusiasm. They prepped their vegetables and made a super tasty sauce before having all of their ingredients to hand before they started their stir-fry. The results speak for themselves and it was delightful to see the students grabbing some bamboo forks to eat their noodles while they were hot!

Day 2 of band tour started with breakfast alongside the local cows and a performance at Burnie Primary 🎷 the afternoon saw another performances at Montello Primary. The day culminated in a team building bowling session 🎳

Today our annual Music Tour kicked off 🎶 students were super excited to board the bus this morning and head to the north of the state to perform at several primary schools. First stop was East Launceston Primary School

Waynapuni pools project hits Sydney!

We are super excited to share that 3 of our students and a staff member are currently in Sydney participating in a workshop to prepare for a festival in January 2027 on Sydney Harbour 🙌

They attended the launch party yesterday and are currently acting as mentors in a hands on workshop preparing new spas and saunas for the festival
