A little glimpse of me…

Celebrant. Storyteller. Emcee. And lover of a great wedding ❤️

Not just the woman standing at the front with the Marriage Register in her hands.

I’m the woman who believes every couple has a story worth telling, and that their wedding ceremony should actually sound like them.

I’m a storyteller, a Marriage Celebrant, an Emcee, a calm voice when the nerves kick in, a keeper of vows and secrets, a problem solver… and the person quietly making sure everything is happening exactly where it should be.

I have the honour to stand beside people on one of the biggest days of their lives.

I hear the stories of how they meet, the awkward first dates, the unexpected second chances, the proposals that go beautifully to plan … and the ones that don’t.

I meet their families, hear about the people they love, learn about the little things that make their relationship theirs, and somehow turn all of that into a ceremony that feels natural, personal and completely them.

And yes, behind the scenes there are legal documents, emails, questionnaires, scripts, timelines, rehearsals, music cues, vow cards and a Marriage Register that I guard with my life.

But the part I love most is much simpler.

It’s looking out at two people standing in front of everyone they love and knowing I get to tell a little piece of their story before they make one very big promise to each other.

Seven years into this wonderful job, I still think I have one of the best seats in the house.

This is celebrancy.

And I absolutely love it. ❤️

One marriage law specialist to another… just 800 years apart.

Of all the tombs I could wander up to in Barcelona Cathedral, I find Saint Raymond of Penyafort, a 13th-century canon lawyer who actually wrote about marriage law.

Apparently Marriage Celebrants are drawn to their own. 🤍

I’m just grateful my legal paperwork is a little more straightforward these days!

Because unless you’ve been married before, or you’ve sat through a lot of weddings really paying attention, you probably don’t know what goes where, who says what, when the rings happen, when you kiss, or how long it all takes.

That’s where I come in... I help you work through the whole ceremony so it feels relaxed, organised and very much like you.

My 2028 calendar is now open, and I’m pleased to say my current pricing remains unchanged for 2028 bookings.

One less thing to think about. One more thing ticked off the wedding planning list.

Quick Celebrant Myth … your ceremony has to be long to be meaningful.

Some of the most beautiful ceremonies I’ve officiated have been simple, personal and full of emotion … heart flutters, laughter and tears.

Chantel & Jaxon celebrated becoming husband and wife on 6 May 2026 at the beautiful , on their seven-year anniversary.

Their story starts as high school friends and grows into something full of laughter, Star Wars, creativity, gentle teasing, and the kind of everyday silliness that makes life feel light. Chantel even walked down the aisle to a Star Wars lullaby.

The weather kept us guessing, so we brought the ceremony undercover ... but with that beautiful backdrop, you’d never have known. I loved standing beside them through the little nerves at the beginning, right through to those very happy just-married smiles.

These two are proof that love doesn’t need to be complicated. Sometimes it’s simply being seen, supported, understood, and still laughing together through all of it.

A quiet Wednesday, a beautiful rustic old world charm setting, and two people ready to say “I do.”

On 10 September 2025, Ayasha and Adrian chose my Simply Married package at St Francis Winery Resort, proving that your wedding day doesn’t need to be big or complicated to be incredibly special.

Complimenting the team was the talented Dana Cherie behind the camera. Together we created a relaxed and intimate celebration where the focus stayed exactly where it belongs… on the two of them and the promises they were making.

One of the things I love most about offering my Simply Married package is that couples can enjoy a beautiful ceremony, stunning surroundings, professional photography, and a stress-free experience, all wrapped into one easy mid-week celebration.
