I’m an award-winning, vivacious celebrant, and I love creating and performing unique and personalised ceremonies. It’s my absolute privilege to be entrusted with creating a beautiful ceremony for what is, for some people, the most important life milestone they’ve celebrated so far. I feel very lucky and touched that so many couples have put this responsibility in my hands, and I work hard to ensur

e that the ceremony I design for them is a reflection of who they are, both as individuals and as a couple. It’s very rare these days to see the kind of raw emotion that we see at weddings, and I love it when my couples and their guests laugh and cry their way through my ceremonies!

It’s 2026, so when it comes to farewelling your loved one, there are really no rules. If you want to hold a ceremony on a Sunday, in the middle of the soccer pitch they played at, with giant animal and soccer ball balloons tied to the chairs, you can absolutely do that. There are all sorts of things we can do to reflect your person’s life and loves; we’re only limited by your imagination.

I’m trying to open myself up to new theatre experiences this year, and tonight is one of them - Melbourne Playback’s first Status Quo show. From what I’ve read there’s going to be some panel discussion, some improv, and some storytelling - I’m looking forward to it!
