What a week it's been…
From travelling out to Warialda for a graveside service to farewell a much-loved 86-year-old lady, to sitting with a family in Inverell to help them prepare a meaningful farewell for their 89-year-old husband and father. Then up to Tenterfield for a beautiful service honouring a 93-year-old woman who lived a full life — and finishing the week today with love and celebration at Bens Falls Retreat near Emmaville, officiating the wedding of a gorgeous couple.
A week of love, loss, memories, and new beginnings. It’s always an honour to walk beside families through it all. 💐💍❤️

Some moments at a wedding simply stay with you — and little Louie, the couple's adored son and very enthusiastic pageboy, gave us one of those gems!
Throughout the ceremony, he was laser-focused on his one big task: manning the bubble guns to shower his parents with love (and bubbles) as they walked back down the aisle. Every few minutes, he whispered urgently, "Is it time yet?" 😄
You can’t see Louie in this photo — but trust me, when his big moment finally arrived, he went for it! The air was filled with bubbles, and we all burst out laughing. His joy was completely contagious and made the moment even more magical.

Yesterday, Shaylee & Neil said “I do” in front of their family and friends, sharing beautiful, heartfelt vows that had everyone smiling (and maybe shedding a tear or two!). ❤️

But one of the most special moments? They didn’t just make promises to each other—they also shared ‘vows of promise’ with their boys, Will & Aston. 💙 Promises of love, guidance, and always being there, no matter what.

A truly beautiful way to celebrate not just their marriage, but their family. 🥰

They say if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life—and for me, that’s absolutely true. My love for travel started early in my career in the travel industry and sparked a passion that’s taken me to incredible places across Australia and around the world.
As a marriage celebrant, I’ve been lucky enough to combine my two great loves: celebrating love stories and exploring breathtaking locations. 🌧️💍 Weathering Life’s Storms Together 💍🌧️
Late yesterday afternoon, I had the absolute joy of officiating a beautiful, intimate wedding on the couple’s family farm near Bundarra. The wild weather kept us on our toes all day, with sunshine, wind, and rain all making an appearance!
Just as I spoke the words, "May you weather all of life’s storms together," the bride’s veil took flight – a perfectly timed moment that had us all laughing!
Rain on your wedding day is often said to symbolize new beginnings, a fresh start, and even fertility – a lovely blessing for this couple, who are already proud parents to a little boy and have another bubby on the way in March.
Despite the unpredictable weather, it was a ceremony filled with love, laughter, and heartfelt promises. By the end, I may have looked like a drowned rat – but it was so worth it.
Wishing this incredible couple a lifetime of joy, adventure, and sunshine after every storm. 🌦️💞
