Hiya All ☺️

Long time no talk.
Obviously I haven't been at the Rest Area in quite awhile actually. Life has been madness, not only am I busy with work at The Highway Hotel, which I enjoy, and Catering for myself which I'm booked out till October, I'm also trying to spend time at home with my family, I kinda like them 🤣

So a decision on renewing my permit for the Rest Area had to be made as it runs on Financial year renewal, and we talked about it and I'm not renewing 😢

I am still going to be trading for Catering and Events and you can always do an order with me for Sweet or Savoury goodies 🤤 but my time at the Rest Area is over.

Hopefully will see you all around and if I am at an event would be awesome to see you there.

I was asked a few weeks ago about making traditional style Sponge Butterfly Cupcakes for John's 95th Bithday.

Anyone that knows me would know that sponge cake and me normally come to fisticuffs 👊🤣 so we had a trial, to add a little pressure John started as an apprentice Baker when he was 14 and used to make them everyday 😳, but alas we succeeded and was told he went back for seconds which is his way of approving.

So today I had the privilege of making 95 Butterfly Cupcakes and 2 Butterfly Cakes.
