🤓 August Meet Cute Book Club Meet Up

Hey book club cuties, we're almost ready to catch up and chat about our August read, The Measure by Nikki Erlick.

The Geraldton Women's Shed has kindly offered their new space for our meet up, so please bring along a $10 donation (cash preferred).

To go with the theme of this month's book, bring along a mystery box with a snack or surprise to share. No pressure to do this one, only if you're feeling it.

New month, new little format 🎀

We’ve retired the monthly events calendar (bye!) and replaced it with the Meet Cute Noticeboard. Same local goss on what’s happening around town, now with a side of romanticise-your-life inspo. Because we think life in Gero is genuinely so sweet when you slow down and look for it 🌼

Want to meet more locals or do cool things? Our Facebook community group is right there waiting for you (link in bio), come find your people 🫶

And keep the tips coming! If you catch wind of anything happening around town, message us. The weirder, more niche and out of the box, the better. We want the good stuff 💌

Well, our first Meet Cute Book Club catch up completely melted our hearts 🥹💌

Thank you for coming along, meeting new faces and being just the loveliest bunch to talk books with!!

Our first read is officially... The Measure by Nikki Erlick 📖 A beautiful, thought-provoking story about the choices we make and how we spend the time we're given. We think there will be lots to talk about after this read.

If you’ve been wanting people to yap about books with IRL (or just need an excuse to romanticise your Saturday morning coffee) come along to our first unofficial Meet Cute Book Club this Sat (1st Aug) from 10.30am @ AJs Beach Cafe.

No assigned book (yet). No homework. No pressure. Just a space to chat about what you’re reading, what you loved, what you couldn’t put down (or couldn’t finish 👀) and what’s next on your TBR.

Contrary to popular belief Meet Cute is so much more than our chaotic events (as much as we love them)

It’s the “anyone keen for a coffee” posts. The local recs. The people moving to town bravely trying to make new friends. The fortnightly mums club. The little pockets of connection that happen when someone simply puts their hand up.

Case in point: Saf had an idea for a Mums club, threw it out into the group and now a bunch of amazing mummas (and their cutie sidekicks) catch up every fortnight 🥰

Their next foreshore catch up is Monday next week, be sure to join our fb group to keep updated!

Your July events calendar has arrived 💌

It seems Geraldton really shuts down in the winter months. Are we all happy hibernating or are there some cuties out there craving a bit of fun? If you’re on the hunt for pals to chase some winter whimsy with, jump into our Facebook group and put yourself out there!
