It's been SO long since I've picked up my camera for work! My book business keeps me busy full time these days. I've really enjoyed doing some product photos for the lovely Nina at Ninapatina in Ranelagh this last week!
Nina has the most devine store & beautiful handmade local products, plants, fire pits and more!
Nina is having a late night shopping event this evening from 4pm 'til late, complete with champagne & yummy nibbles! So get yourself down there & support a fabulous local business & get your shopping done in this stunning shop! Beats the shopping malls anytime!

Wednesday morning I received a message, “are you available at 4.30 today” from Bec who had booked me in to photograph her and Rob’s wedding in early April, after they were forced to cancel their plans to wed in Ireland, due to the dreadful Corona virus.

Then on Tuesday night the announcement came over the news “no weddings with over 5 people present”. I was sure they would postpone but there was no stopping these guys, they were getting married no matter what!!

I’ve recently moved house and my cameras were safely packed away still, so I scrambled to charge my batteries and find my memory cards and get myself to the beautiful Randall’s Bay in time for a beach wedding!!

There was all the appropriate social distancing with no hugging or kissing from the guests, the wind blew but the sun shone and hearts were full of love and happiness for this gorgeous couple and Bec’s stunning girls.

Congratulations Bec and Rob, you pulled it off in style! Here’s a little sample of some pictures for you ❤️

I’ve been a bit busy lately getting ready to move house, running my other small business selling books and doing a few photography jobs as well, including another adorable newborn baby boy in my studio yesterday 😍
Today I took some time out with my daughter to enjoy a yummy treat at our gorgeous local eatery The Old bank of Geeveston. Their deserts are just to die for ❤️
(I wasn’t quick enough to get a photo of my daughter’s before she’s started on it 😂)

This is Gemma & Doug & on Saturday they got married! I was lucky enough to be asked to capture their beautiful garden wedding here in Geeveston in the Huon Valley. They had many friends & family visiting from interstate & although the good old Tassie weather tried to dampen the occasion, it failed! It was such a fun & happy day. Doug & Gemma I'm so happy to have met you both, thank you for allowing me into your lives on your very magical day

This was my first time photographing a newborn in a few years & it was so much fun!
A huge thank you to Mum Crystal for being so patient and calm & helpful!
And to baby Arthur for cooperating so nicely while I practiced baby positioning & wrapping! I'm a bit rusty but happy to be getting back into the swing of it :)

Today Geeveston celebrated the first anniversary of the Parkrun.

The theme was dress up in something starting with G, and the costumes were lots of fun!
I've been meaning to join in for ages but always seem to be busy & now I have a dodgy knee so I thought I'd take some photos as a way to get involved.
I met some lovely people & we had a yummy breakfast at The Old Bank Cafe afterwards. It was a really lovely morning! We have a great little community here in Geeveston :)

I hope I'll be joining in the running soon!

Just a few photos of all the beautiful cars yesterday at the Annual Geeveston Wheels in the Park car show. It was a huge turnout for our tiny town, great to see people coming to support this event!

My son & I had such a great time last weekend at the Australian Wooden Boat festival in Hobart.
Seeing the harbour filled with tall ships & hundreds of other beautiful wooden boats was such a delight!
I got to catch up with lots of my old shipmates going back to my days sailing on the Bounty for the First Fleet reenactment, lots of storytelling & reminiscing & beer drinking was enjoyed :)
We were also fortunate enough to sail on the Yukon with David & Ea for the Ketch Review, what a great afternoon!
