Some of you will know my son as the ‘audio man’ at my weddings and he does a fabulous job. Today however is a ‘proud mumma post’ as he has many talents and one of them is Magic (and yes he has and can work at weddings during cocktail hour as a roving magician). Sam last night after many months of hard work and creativity won the ‘Australian Junior Magic Competition’ at the Melbourne Magic Festival!

Shane is a volunteer firey. So of course we had one of Victoria’s oldest fire trucks at his wedding!

This one was at the beautiful Balyang Sanctuary and honestly it had everything. The truck, the confetti, the outdoor ceremony, and a groom who was absolutely not keeping it together by the lake (in the best way).

When couples Like Shane and Samantha bring a piece of who they actually are into their ceremony, that’s when the magic happens.
This is my kind of wedding.

A little throwback to Rach and Matt at Cobbin Farm Chapel.
Such a gorgeous spot and two people who were all in from the moment we began.

Their ceremony had that perfect mix of nerves, laughs and the kind of joy you can feel in your chest. The vows, the kiss, the walk back down the aisle… every bit of it felt so them.

Days like this are why I love what I do.
Simple, heartfelt, relaxed and full of good people cheering you on.

The sweetest pair who followed their instincts every step of the way.

They saved their personal vows for a quiet moment after the ceremony. No audience. No nerves. Just the two of them in the paddock, saying the words they wanted to say.
