This July, I'm putting down the whiskey. Seriously.
As many of you know, our family has been rocked by some pretty devastating news—our beautiful daughter-in-law has been diagnosed with the horrible disease. It’s been a brutal time for her, for my son, and for their little girl, our granddaughter, who’s just 15 months old.
The support we’ve received—through the GoFundMe and from so many kind messages—has been overwhelming. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
But I’ve been feeling like I need to do something more. Something that shows I’m in this with them, not just emotionally, but physically. I’m doing this to raise funds for brain cancer research and support, and as a small gesture of solidarity with those who don’t get a choice about the tough things they have to face.
I’m not asking for much. Many of you have already given so much. But if you feel like chipping in—or just want to follow along as I sweat it out without my nightly dram—The link is below
Thanks for standing with us. Here’s to love, strength, family—and maybe just a slightly clearer head co
