BALLARAT, YOU WERE A DREAM//

Today at the Ballarat Wedding Guide Expo was everything I love about this industry. So many gorgeous couples, so many ideas, and so many conversations that I know will turn into something really special.

My stand was a soft nod to Wuthering Heights, with urns, plinths and veiled red roses creating a moody, romantic feel without overcomplicating things.

Proof that you don’t need to fill a space to make an impact, just a strong vision and a little drama.

EXPO LOVE

I had a stand at the Geelong Wedding Guide Expo this year and loved bringing this display to life. Those jewelled tones were rich, bold and unapologetically luxe. I really enjoyed creating these florals, building on the rich colour palette and textural layers throughout the space.

The ruffled ombré backdrop was a full labour of love by my mum, because my sewing skills still cap out at fixing socks and rescuing teddy bears.

Thank you to for capturing it so beautifully, and to Rach from for the use of her clear plinths.

ADRIFT

It seems only yesterday we were having a blast shooting at the Geelong Waterfront and taking the chance to float a bouquet in the sea for a unique shot.

At the end of the shoot, since we no longer needed the bouquet, we decided to see if it would float for a great picture. Holding our breath, I carefully leaned out from the dock and dropped it into the water. It floated so well that I was able to retrieve it afterwards and our gorgeous model took it home to enjoy.

Creating art for a couples big day in the form of florals will forever be my calling.

This has to be by far my favourite photo from Helena and Bailey's wedding. Mind you, it was hard to pick a favourite out of all th amazing images from and I can't wait to share more.

I loved it so much it became my ad for magazine this year.
