I’m a lover girl at heart, so every wedding holds a special place in my heart. But every now and then there’s a couple who leaves an extra little mark and Lani and Noah were one of them 🤍

Lani and Noah were an absolute joy from the first email right through to meeting them on the night. Their energy was infectious, their day was beautiful and these photos are every bit as gorgeous as they are.

As event suppliers, we often only get a tiny glimpse of a wedding day. We arrive, do our part and then head off while the magic continues. That’s why I love seeing professional photos come through afterwards. It feels like getting to read the rest of the love story ❤️

Soft pinks, beautiful florals and a little one on the way 🌸

We loved creating this baby shower tablescape, featuring our table styling, glassware and rattan pram filled with faux florals 🤍

Paired with cross-back chairs and tables from Surfcoast Party & Event Hire, it created the perfect space for family and friends to gather, celebrate and spoil a beautiful mumma to be ❤️

And the best part? It was all created in our client’s stunning backyard ✨

Featuring our window arch backdrop, custom arch backdrop, ripple plinth and white faux florals, it created the perfect space for photos with family and friends throughout the night 📸

Because long after the cake is gone and the celebrations are over, the photos are what remain 🤍

This moment felt straight out of a Disney movie 🏰✨

Jemma & Joe’s wedding entrance at was pure magic, Disney music, happy tears and the most beautiful energy in the room from this gorgeous happy couple 🫶

These are the moments I LOVE and feel so honoured to be a tiny part of 🤍

Also, was absolutely killing it (as always) with the wedding reception soundtrack/prep music. Moana was playing while we were setting up and it had us all in a good mood before the guests even arrived 💃

Hi lovely people 🤍

It’s been a little quiet on our socials lately, but behind the scenes we’ve been deep in setup mode creating some really beautiful moments

Including not one… but TWO proposals at the iconic Pole House recently 🌊

For any new faces, I’m Vanessa, the heart behind A Simple Wish Events. I work alongside my amazing team member Maddi and together we style proposals, picnics, backdrops and special celebrations all across Geelong and surrounds.

Most of our Thurs to Sundays are spent on the road delivering and setting up jobs and during the week I'm juggling admin, quotes and mum life. This past month I’ve also been by my husband’s side while he’s been in and out of hospital, so I really appreciate everyone’s patience with replies 🩷

So many beautiful setups from the past few months coming your way soon and I can’t wait to share them 🤍

Replies may take up to 3 to 5 business days during our busy season.

All confirmed bookings are locked in and running as planned. Our team will be in touch where needed.

If you’re waiting on an invoice, your date is temporarily pencilled in. Once your invoice is sent, your booking is fully secured when the booking fee is paid. We’re unable to hold dates without a deposit, particularly across our most sought-after summer dates. Please also note the due date on your invoice and ensure final payment is received by that time.
