The Helium House

Tonight I said goodbye to The Helium House. People have asked me in the last few days how I am feeling and with all honesty I said I was just fine. Now the hall is empty of balloons and all things party I am feeling just as empty, very sad to see such a wonderful and happy chapter of my life come to an end.
Thank you all for your support during the last 9 years. I won't ever forget the chats, the laughs and sometimes the tears.

Just about all packed up. I have a heap of "give aways" for a donation to the Pinery Bushfire fund.
Also posie box displays for $5.

We have officially closed, but I will be in the shop for at least tomorrow, most of the day and Monday morning. There are still heaps of balloons, decorations, etc. left so if you want to stock up for your next few parties call in to see me.

We have been busy sorting out stock for sale, as well as lots of things from behind the scenes. I will add pictures shortly. These are the discounted prices of all our balloons.
I know it's hot out there, but it's lovely and cool in here!

Only 4 days left until we close our doors for good. I'm feeling very, very sad. I'm also feeling very overwhelmed with the daunting task of clearing out the hall! Most of the shop fittings have sold now, except for the black counters and a few smaller bits and pieces, but we have a lot of stock left which I would love to see gone! From today, we have 40% off ALL existing stock, even balloons. This doesn't include custom made banners and invitations. Please share this post for me. Thank you xx

Malamute x Husky puppies.
Currently 5 weeks old
3 boys - 1 x grey, 2 x black & white
4 girls - 1 x grey, 3 x black & white
Mum is a pure bred Husky with no papers. Dad is a pure bred Malamute with papers.
Both Mum and Dad lived in my home for a while. Mum is the sweetest, most gentle dog you could imagine. Beautiful with smaller dogs and even tiny kittens. Dad was still a pup when he left so was an energetic bundle and very loving.
Both parents are owned by my son and have great temperaments, taken to dog parks regularly to socialise and are available for a "meet and greet" by anyone interested in a pup.
Dad is 1 year old, Mum is 2.
Pups will be available for sale when they are 8 weeks old and vaccinated.
Just one thing. These dogs are all very well loved and would all be kept if it was possible, so my son will only sell the pups to people who have the time to spend playing and exercising them.

GIANT HUGE AMAZING GARAGE SALE!
Hamley Bridge institute. Today and tomorrow. Selling the left over items donated to the bush fire victims. Proceeds will go towards the hire of a container to store furniture, etc. for those who lost their homes until they get new homes. I know it's hot but come have a look - there is so much to go.

This is Hamley Bridge today. Sirens still going off now and then but we are safe. I decided to stay at home today, just in case.
If anyone still wants to donate to people who lost their homes, these are the things most needed ...
Cat litter
Children's snacks
Non perishable food
Kitchen items (utensils, electrical appliances, pots and pans, containers, etc. , tools (both shed and garden)

So I called into The Helium House today and once again completely filled my car with your donations. You lot rock big time!
Something the family with 4 young children who lost everything in the fire need is wardrobes. Without wanting to sound rude, they do need to be in good condition because they will be used until insurance is sorted out and a new house is built. If anyone has a wardrobe they would like to donate, please send me a photo so I can show the family.
It's going to be hot tomorrow. I am staying home to keep an eye on things, worried about smouldering trees close by.
