It’s so good to see how many people are getting behind this team.
It’s about time.

Hopefully this will really amplify the fact that women’s sport is the real deal and should be sponsored, endorsed and supported accordingly.

Hazards of the job….

I am reminded this morning of one of the hazards of my job.
It involves managing multiple social media accounts - and my sometimes (many times) acting on impulse.

This post about a forthcoming show by the wonderful and dear Stan Munro popped up in my Facebook feed this morning and I instantly LOVED it.
It will be lovely to see Stan return to Castlemaine for a show at the

I hadn’t noticed, though, that my last engagement on Facebook had switched the user account to one of my clients.

So my client LOVEs the fact Stan is coming to town.

After a short gasp about my Sunday morning mix up (extenuating circumstances people) I realised that even though it wasn’t intentional, neither was it going to cause a problem.

You see, one of the most important decisions about me partnering with businesses and community groups is aligned values.

We don’t have to agree or think the same about everything, but our core values have to align.

So I take comfort in knowing my client will also embrace Stan’s show - and the fabulous Theatre Royal.

(I still recommend you pay attention to who you are posting as though.)😊

Life has been pretty busy lately, professionally and personally, so there’s a lot of retrospective posting to do.
Starting with the most recent.

My own photos of the book event in Castlemaine yesterday were less than good, so I’ve re-purposed one from to add to mine.

As ever, it was enlightening and inspiring to hear Brigid speak about her journey writing and connecting with this book (and Stoicism in general).

Also always enjoy Kristin as interlocutor.

Throw in the fact this all takes place in a brewery ( at ) and that there were many friends in the audience (who’d have thought?) and it made for a heartwarming afternoon.

Now to read more about those Reasons Not to Worry.

Some shots from last weekend's ASCA Conference 2022 in Castlemaine. A full day and two half days of intensive discussion, knowledge-sharing and conviviality, planning the next steps in the growth of the Australian artisan cheese sector. Saturday evening saw a big knees-up, featuring the hilarious but wise words of on how important storytelling is for artisan cheesemakers, and the inaugural Great Australian Artisan Cheese Trolley - 100 different Australian artisan cheeses brought by our cheesemaker members attending the conference, all lined up on one long table and then demolished at the end of dinner (well, not totally demolished - we ate a lot more the following day and then everyone took some home!). This will be an ongoing feature of our conferences, helping us to visually and organoleptically measure the growth of Australia's artisan cheese sector! Post event management perks….

Delicious goat’s milk blue for morning tea, with a drizzle of manna gum honey straight from the frame. 😋

There’s no such thing as too much cheese 😁
