Thanks so much for an unforgettable ceremony.
We had SO MANY people say how funny and interesting our ceremony was. Friends were saying that it was so unique and very ‘us’.
My Dad went on about you in his speech and how great you were and that you captured us beautifully.
Seriously, so many comments on how they have never enjoyed a ceremony so much.
Couldn’t be happier with how the whole day/night went.
We thank you!

It is with a very happy heart that I post these photos of my sister’s marriage to my now-sister-in-law on International Women’s Day.

They were married in their living room last Sunday with their immediate family as witnesses. It was perfect.

I tell my couples whose kids will be involved in their ceremony to let them do whatever the hell they want (especially when they’re young).

Don’t try and force them to sit and quietly watch; doing that is a recipe for a tantrum. Instead, let them run around and enjoy the process, because it actually provides fantastic entertainment.

Take little Travis, he was free to run up and down the aisle, join his parents under the arbour, play musical laps with the guests, and he even scored a dance with the celebrant 💃🏽

These two had thrown in the towel, then a couple of months before their original date, they decided, let’s do it!

They were back on, baby!

And thank goodness, because their wedding at Seal Rocks Lighthouse Cottages was incredible. With just 20 guests they were able to keep the day simple and relaxed and everyone who attended had the pleasure of sneaking in a little holiday (me included).

It seems to have become more common for the best man to carry the rings in his pocket, perhaps because couples fear their younger relatives may not take the role seriously enough?

In my experience, this is not the case. Little people consider their role of ring bearing as the most critical and pivotal of moments in their lives.

Take young Patrick, from the moment he arrived at Shayli and Ryan’s wedding he was READY! He asked his parents for time updates before his role needed to be executed, and when the moment came, he killed it!

The crowd loved it. Shayli and Ryan loved it. And Patrick, well he felt like one of the most important little dudes going round 😎

My beautiful fiend Shayli married the man of her dreams and it was..... incredible!

The entire setup was open air and the grounds at Redleaf in Wollombi gave us the feeling that we had been transported to a chateau in Tuscany.

The weather had teased us all morning, but we all remained hopeful and thankfully we were delivered a balmy evening perfect for dining and dancing under the stars (yep, they were the lucky ones who squeezed into the two-week-period where 50 guests were allowed to dance).

To marry a friend is truly magical.

My couples are forever amazing me, and Ash and Hayden are no exception.

In July this year, Hayden’s two greatest loves collided: Ash and golf.

Overlooking a pristine golf course in Wollongong he popped the big Q and Ash was so overcome with emotion she forgot to give the poor bu**er an answer.

Neck minute!

They’re contacting me to see when I would be available to marry them, and in just two months, they pulled together this intimate, rustic, eclectic and love-filled wedding at Somersby Paddock.

Well done, Mr and Mrs Mole!

~ ULTIMATE BOUNCE BACK ~

So many of us have been whipped, whacked and whizzed on this year, especially those planning a wedding.

Lucy and Nick were no exception. Their plan A was constantly being modified, which they patiently took on by adapting to each new regulation. Then, a month before they were set to marry, their venue phoned to say they were cancelling....

Yep, their venue cancelled on them 😞

At this point they were almost ready to throw in the towel, but their family members rallied together to somehow wrangle a new ceremony location and reception venue - and they did this in just 3 weeks!!!

And the result - SENSATIONAL 🙌

Well done you two. I am in awe of your resilience, resourcefulness and ability to bounce back. Plus, look at you two in this picture! You are walking on air and you both look smoking! And - you kept the date of all dates - 10.10.2020!
