Forrest Public Reserves You can book either the Hall or the GrassTree meeting room through us. Our members are all volunteers.

The Forrest Public Reserves Committee manages two public properties in Forrest, the Forrest Public Hall at 14 Grant St and the Forrest Community Hub at 47-49 Grant Street. The Forrest Public Reserves Committee (FPRC) membership is elected from local representatives for a 3 year term. Membership is approved by the Minister for the Department of Environment, Land Water and Planning. Committees are a

ppointed under the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978 to “manage, improve, maintain and control” the reserve for the purposes for which it is reserved. The committee is not funded and applies for grants and raises money through hiring out the buildings, licences with other user groups and fundraising to ensure our public buildings are maintained and managed for the community.
