Join us for a bus trip to Port Arthur Lavender Farm for Devonshire Tea. Limited spots are available per trip.
Bus departs the Sorell Memorial Hall at 10am and returns by 2.30pm.
Trip includes Devonshire Tea, a stroll along the lavender trail and a visit to the Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry at Taranna. Prize for the best dressed in Lavender.

There is now an automatic defibrillator at the hall. The device has been registered, and the unit is alarmed.

We wanted to inform the community of some upcoming changes you'll see at the hall.
As you know, we are a very small committee and have strived to run markets and events each month as well as maintain the hall & grounds.
There's only so much that a small group can do and it's come to the stage where we are all needing a break.
You'll notice that Deb is running her garage sale from the hall (you should see how much she has to sell 🤪) and she will be running the markets for the next 12 months. This gives the rest of the committee a well-earned break.
Deb's market has outside stalls available and they will run weekly for a while, then maybe fortnightly, this depends on the support of the community.

Although some community members have expressed concerns about the changes, be assured we made this decision in the best interest of the hall and we ask for your understanding & support.
Buildings of that age need air circulation, someone to be there and to be looking after it. In 12 months' time, it may go back to the way it was or continue as is - but in the mean time please understand that the committee still want what's best for the hall and the community.

Garage sale at the hall this Thurs, Fri, Sat 8am - 5pm, Sun 8am - 3pm.
A HUGE range of children's clothing (all sizes), toys etc, household goods.
Call in and see what Deb has (there's not much she doesn't have 🤣🤣)!

We need some people to join our committee and give it a facelift.

Our committee members have loved the hall for quite a while, and some of us are happy to step aside and let you step up.
