Who will be your ring bearer? 💍

Choosing who or how your rings will be delivered is sometimes a tough choice, especially when you have so many loved ones to consider.

Couple's may have a Best Man, a page boy, or even their beloved dog do this special job, but have you ever thought of having a tiny but mighty ring bearer?

However, I have had a few different ring bearers over the years, and each one has brought their own unique charm to the ceremony.

I have even had the special job a few times myself ❤

So, who will you choose to carry your rings down the aisle? Will it be a family member, a close friend, or maybe even a furry companion?

The possibilities are endless, and the right choice will make your special day even more unforgettable.

A Coffee Table Wedding this morning for T&T who are celebrating with family and friends later today ❤️

I decided to have a little walk around while I was there. A lovely little park and a beautiful place to be married.

❤ Remembering Loved Ones ❤

Your wedding day is a truly special occasion that you share with your closest family and friends, a day filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.

It's hard when someone is missing, and their absence is deeply felt.

Couples often ask me what they can do to honour the memory of a loved one who can't be with them on this momentous occasion. Others come up with beautiful, heartfelt ideas on their own, which make the day even more meaningful.

There are many ways to pay tribute to your loved ones, and I've seen some truly touching gestures.

For instance, some couples choose to display photographs of their loved ones, either on a memory table, a photo booth, or even on their wedding favours.

Others incorporate family heirlooms into their bouquets or attire, serving as a reminder of the love and connection that remains.

Some reserve a seat for their loved one up front, with a bouquet or a special token, acknowledging their presence in spirit.

Lighting candles or releasing balloons can also be a poignant way to honour their memory.

These gestures not only provide comfort to the couples but also serve as a beautiful way to keep their loved ones close to their hearts on their special day. ❤

What are the legal components to getting married in Australia?

1. A Notice of Intended Marriage must be completed and sent to your celebrant a minimum of one month before your chosen wedding date. 📄

2. An identification check requires showing your celebrant original documents showing your date and place of birth, such as a passport or birth certificate, and photo identification. If you have been married before, you will also be required to show evidence that this marriage has ended. 📆

3. A Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marry must be signed by both parties before the ceremony, along with your celebrant, stating that there is no reason why you can't legally be married. 📝

4. Legal vows, which include certain words from the Marriage Act, must be said during your ceremony.

5. After the ceremony, you, your two witnesses, and your celebrant will sign three marriage certificates; you get to keep the commemorative one. ❤

Once your ceremony script is written, I will send it over to you for a quick read. We can then add, remove or change anything you like.
Hopefully we have connected enough, you have set the tone for your ceremony and you will just love it !

Your vows are the most important part of your wedding ceremony, and usually the part that has every couple feeling anxious.

It's the moment when you promise to love, cherish, and support each other for the rest of your lives, and it's a beautiful thing!

But we know it can be nerve-wracking to express your deepest feelings in front of your friends and family.

To help you get through this unforgettable moment, remember these few things: -

Keep them short if reading in front of people is hard for you - it's better to have a shorter, heartfelt message than a long, rambling one that you might struggle to get through.

Read slowly, clearly and loudly - take your time, and make sure your voice is heard by everyone in the room.

Breathe and relax - it's okay to take a deep breath and collect your thoughts before you start speaking.

And most importantly,

Practise, practise, practise - the more you practise, the more comfortable you'll feel with the words, and the more confident you'll be when it's time to say them out loud. 💕
