Oriental Martial Arts Academy SA are back at Findon Community Centre for Term 2 from Tuesday 28th April 2026

Oriental Martial Arts Academy SA proudly began training at the Findon Community Centre in 2025, and we have been committed to empowering the community through traditional martial arts training focused on confidence, wellbeing, and self-development.

Hapkido for Over 50s
One of our main focuses is teaching Hapkido to those aged 50 and over, helping build confidence while promoting self-care and overall wellbeing.
Hapkido is an ancient Korean martial art originally developed for self-defence. Its techniques emphasize balance, joint movement, flexibility, and practical defence skills rather than strength alone, making it particularly suitable for mature students.

Training in Hapkido helps students:
• Improve mobility and coordination
• Build confidence and awareness
• Enhance mental focus
• Feel empowered and capable
• Navigate today’s fast-paced and sometimes chaotic world with calm and control

We also teach Taekwondo, a dynamic Korean martial art suitable for children, teenagers, and adults. Our classes are supportive, friendly, and tailored to individual ability levels.

Taekwondo for Kids, Teens & Adults

Taekwondo training promotes:
• Physical fitness and flexibility
• Effective self-defence skills
• Confidence and resilience
• Self-discipline and respect
• Goal setting and achievement

Our classes provide a positive environment where students of all ages can grow, challenge themselves, and develop lifelong skills.

Tuesday:
Kids Taekwondo - 5.45pm-6.15pm
Teens & Adults Taekwondo - 5.45pm-6.30pm
Over 50’s Hapkido - 6.30pm-7:15pm
