Went paintballing today and learned a few important life lessons:

1. I am not built for military operations.
2. Crawling through mud at full speed is harder than it looks in movies.
3. The phrase “friendly fire” suddenly becomes very personal.
4. I can, in fact, scream in pitches previously unknown to science.

Shoutout to the mate who said “cover me” and disappeared immediately. Absolute leadership material.

Just survived Shoalhaven Skirmish and I have a few takeaways:

I am NOT as stealthy as I thought. Apparently running through the bush yelling “I’m flanking!” gives it away.
Getting hit with a paintball builds character… and also bruises in places I didn’t know existed.
Trust issues are real. If you say “I’m out!” I’m still shooting… just in case.

10/10 would absolutely get lit up again. Who’s keen for round two? 🎯😆
