Having planned my own ‘destination wedding’ whilst living in Karratha, I understand all there is to know about planning your special day from a

Today marked my final ceremony for this year and, for now, my last as a marriage celebrant. My husband and I are about to set off on an exciting adventure, traveling throughout 2025—a journey over 12 months in the making!

While I’m taking a break from celebrating love stories, this isn’t goodbye forever. As I get ready to hit the road and travel with Sam, I want to take a moment to say a huge thank you.

To all the lovely couples I've had the honour to marry, thank you for letting me be part of your big day. Your love stories have been such a joy to be part of.

To my awesome Exmouth community and colleagues, Jess, Vee and Cat at Elope To Ningaloo, your support and teamwork have made this journey unforgettable.

And to my family and friends, your love and encouragement mean everything to me.

'We cannot emphasise enough how happy and satisfied we are with your arrangements, the wedding was so beautiful and emotional and something we will always carry with us. The ceremony and your personalised speech to us was so well thought out, funny and deeply serious - all at the same time.

You and Sam were also important as people to make the wedding so beautiful and special, we are so happy to have met and got to know you! You have also in an educational and clear way guided us through the sometimes quite complicated process of getting married in Australia.

Hilary, we cannot thank you enough for your guidance support and understanding in the planning and facilitation of our beautiful beachside wedding. Whilst windy conditions were challenging, your flexibility and respect for our wishes was amazing. The alternate location was perfect, the setup was intimate and special for sure and our family absolutely loved it. We shall cherish this memorable moment forever, thank you!

Maria and Lars flew all the way from Sweden to say "I do" in the stunning Ningaloo, and what an incredible day it was! I had the absolute honour of being their celebrant, and the experience was nothing short of magical.

It was intimate, heartfelt, and filled with so much love—just like the two of them. My husband joined me in an official capacity, and Vee from Blue Media Weddings worked her magic behind the lens to capture every beautiful moment.

We’ve become wonderful friends through it all. Maria and Lars, thank you for trusting us with your special day and for letting us share in your journey. Here's to love, adventure, and all the unforgettable memories we made together.

We found Hilary through a Google search when looking for a celebrant for our Exmouth elopement.

We are a very relaxed and in love couple who wanted our day to be simple, romantic, easy and in alignment with who we are as a couple.

From our first moment meeting Hilary we adored her kind, warm nature -she was everything and more we had hoped for in a celebrant. Hilary understood us and what we wanted and went above and beyond to plan a ceremony that was perfectly us.

Unfortunately as our special day approached a cyclone formed. Hilary was kind and sensitive to the situation and offered so much support and assistance to accommodate us if we still wanted to make the journey to Exmouth and work around the cyclone.
We decided instead that we would put the wedding off, when Hilary informed us she could marry us in Perth at our favourite beach here near our home.

After the quickest re-arrangement of plans, amazingly everything came together to allow us to have our family present for our day -it turned out to be everything we never knew we always wanted.

Our ceremony was perfectly tailored to us, Hilary was incredible and we cannot thank her enough for her kindness and effort to make our day happen.

-And they lived happily ever after-
