📢☆HillBilly Update☆📢

The last few months have been full of exciting changes and ups and downs as we moved all of our gear into the new digs in Gargett!!

Some days were big and others small and we got to the point where we had to crunch the numbers! Given that this venture is our full time gig and we had no other employment we have had to make some very hard decisions over the past couple of weeks.

So it's with much sadness that we have to announce that we will no longer be cooking at the Pioneer Valley Sporting Association in Gargett.

We want to thank everyone who made the drive out to visit us and eat our food we truly appreciate you.

So for now we are planning our exciting next chapter and we are hanging up the aprons for a bit.

We will be honouring all private events booked for the rest of the year but won't be taking any new bookings at this stage as we find our feet again.

Thanks to the PVSA for having us the past couple of months.

Our good friends and permaculture mentors are hosting an open day on their beautiful property, Pandurunga Permaculture Farm in Finch Hatton.
An open opportunity to immerse yourself amongst the systems of a thriving Permaculture demonstration site.
This will be a great introduction into creating functional and harmonious landscapes to support human and environmental health focusing on living and thriving within the natural systems.

We will be taking our home made woodfired rocket-grill and cooking up some delicious HillBilly sourdough burgers for lunch. We can answer questions on designs if you would like any info for your own rocket grill.

Come along, have a burger on us, bring your bathers for Creek swims, connect with nature, enjoy a Farm tour and take in lots of useful helpful information.
💰- FREE open day, PLEASE consider a donation to the Permaculture demonstration site so their amazing work can continue to flourish.
Also, please bring a share plate if you have something delicious you would like to share.

Thanks for the wonderful sourdough enthusiasts who attended our first sourdough class at the Pioneer Valley Sports Club Gargett. We love hosting these and we always finish the day buzzing after spending the day exploring all things sourdough. We are grateful to be able to pass down our knowledge and we get excited to see there are others that love sourdough as much as we do.
Here are a couple of pictures from many years ago that make up a part of our sourdough journey. As always the HillBillys were fully immersed in the moment and forget to take photos to capture precious moments like these.
