Firstly — a huge thank you to our amazing local customers for your continued support. The early starts, late finishes and rose-thorn battle wounds are all worth it because of you.

Valentine’s Day for florists isn’t just a busy week — it’s weeks of planning, pre-ordering (and praying), taking big financial risks, hiring extra staff and living on coffee and adrenaline.

Now here’s the interesting part…

The public can now shop at the same wholesale market florists use — sometimes picking up roses for close to (or even less than) what we pay.

It’s a changing industry, and we get it — everyone loves a bargain. But there’s a little more behind florist pricing than just the stems.

When you buy from a florist, you’re also paying for:
• Proper conditioning so your roses actually last
• Design skills (so they look like that bouquet, not a petrol station bunch 😉)
• Refrigeration, rent, wages, insurance
• Quality control
