As a child, visiting the Melbourne Myer Christmas windows with my parents was an annual moment where imagination and reality blurred. Each window display opened onto a tiny, enchanted world with its own theme, winter wonderlands, bustling toy workshops, storybook scenes brought to life by glowing lights and delicate moving figures.

Pressed up against the cool glass between my parents and the gentle crush of hundreds of excited families, I would feel an overwhelming mix of awe and delight, my breath fogging the windows as I tried to take in every shimmering detail. This was a rare, but unforgettable treasured family outing, a growing up memory moment revisited with Candice’s recent Christmas performance at Myers (Sydney).
